Actually, maybe not so unfamiliar face. Unfamiliar hair, maybe, more like it.
And Axel's response to seeing his surroundings isn't that of an unfamiliar person. He stretches, looks around.]

And a familiar face! [He laughs.] So what've I missed? [Listing possibilities up on his fingers-] Moon crashing down? Rivers of cake batter? Alien invasion?

[Have a Demyx in a Hawaiian shirt just kind of... staring. Why does Axel have blue hair?]

[And the shirt earns a stare right back, and a grin - given his own Demyx's powers run towards the floral? Well. Interesting.]

... What, the shirt? I happen to like it.

Seriously, what the heck do you have blue hair for? I mean, unless you're like Saix with Axel's haircut or something weird like that.

[... definitely not his Demyx. Damn.]

Because red was just so overdone. [He gives a handwave.]

I mean, I realize we're from different worlds. But...

Okay, we'll start small. Is that your natural hair color in your world or what?

Yeah. [He shrugs-] Don't ask me, you'd want Vexen for the genetics or whatever. Different colours, different me. Guess you've got one of the fire guys?

... Oh. Okay, so that's it. So what do you do then if you're not fire?

[He lifts a hand towards his mouth, and blows over his palm as if blowing dust or a feather off it; the result? A brief cascade of snowflakes and chilly air.]

Oh, okay. That's... kind of a relief, honestly, I was afraid you were going to do the moon thing and I wouldn't know when you were going to flip out.

I'm guessing Vexen isn't fire, then. A straight swap would be way too simple for universes.

Eh, actually... [He laughs.] Guess that one did go pretty simply. Lost me at the moon thing, though.

Oh, sorry. Saïx in my world's got blue hair, and he's got moon for an element. He's this berserker kinda thing, which is freaking scary when he's got a sword bigger than he is.

Huh. [Shrugging-] I think they must all get scary. With mine? [Heh.] It's when you end up trying to guess which of the ten giant swords is the real one that's the worst. [He's grinning when he says that, though.]

Okay... wow. I think your universe might actually be scarier than mine.

Though honestly I really can't imagine Vexen with fire powers.

Really? Comes in handy when he's got to light the burners on whatever experiment he's cooked up this time.

No to all of the above. Merely the usual antics of this place.

And here I thought I had things figured out... [Giving a mock-sigh here.]

Huh. Fair enough, I guess. It's just a personality thing, I guess.

Huh. [He looks thoughtful for a moment, scratches his head.] Trying to imagine him with ice... [And then a cheeky grin.] Guess you lot need a lot of heating in your place.

What did you expect? It's a place that lives to break expectations.

Yeah, I suppose. [Bit of a wave, here-] Had to try, though.

I would call 'had' too strong of a word, myself.

[He gives a bit of a 'heh.'] Whatever. Guess I'll see when the next - whatever it is rolls around.
