[ On the outside, there's nothing wrong with this picture. It's Axel and Sora, two lifemates joined in marriage of all things, lying in their bed, in their room. On the inside, this is warped beyond recognition. See, it's not Axel in that body. It's Saïx. His once best friend turned enemy, not to mention rogue vampire Nobody! How jarring. To suddenly not only have a beating Heart, but a lifemate as well, and one no doubt snuggled up close. He wakes up immediately with a jolt, eyes snapping open and hands clenching into fists. This is not his room, or his body, or anything that it should be. ]

[beyond snuggled up close, even. Sora is sprawled across what appears to be Axel, and is still sleeping pretty hard. he also is not wearing much more than the bed sheets, and the room has a telltale scent that betrays what the owners were up to the night before.]

[It's like every single nerve in his body is cranked up in full. He's suddenly aware of everything that he's feeling, physically and otherwise. He needs to get out of here. He needs to move, because this is wrong. He hopes Sora is a deep sleeper. He hopes he can slide out of the bed without disturbing him-- Why is that? ]

[if he thinks it'll be that easy, he can think again. one of Sora's arms are wrapped around Axel's- Saix's waist, curling beneath between him and the bed. any attempts to disentangle will surely wake him up.]

[... Well-- Fuck it. He doesn't care. Sora can go back to sleep, or not go back to sleep. He's going to put on some decent clothes and get the hell out of there.]

[ Yes, try doing that when the door to that preciously quite room is suddenly slammed open, hard enough for it to break off the hinges and cause quite a few pictures of fall off the walls. Yeah.. that.. door isn't going to recover well, either, considering it split down the middle from the impact.

The person who did it?

Saix. Who looks terribly enraged for someone who doesn't have a heart. ]

[that will certainly have woken him up. he's yelping and scrambling for sheets to cover himself with, blindly grabbing for Axel's wrist to be sure he's okay and possibly pull him back toward him on the bed, uh.]

[It's a Saïx get in the car. Or bed, as the case may be, which 'Axel' does not want to do. Unfortunately, he's startled enough by the fucking door breaking open that he's easily pulled back. But only for a moment before he's hauling himself back up to a sit. His eyes never leave Axel, because that is his body. He can tell. This feels weird emotionally, physically, and the nanos are not helping.

My god, he's speechless.]

[ There is a bout a split second before 'Saix' opens his mouth and lets out an incredibly fierce snarl, accompanied with fangs. Someone better say something before his mouth is filled with a neck-- ahah, he's not giving any sympathy towards the situation, because.. well, he's not physically able to right now.

Talk fast, Saix. You should be able to in that body-- ]

[the problem with body swapping is that the nanos don't swap as well. Sora isn't aware of the change they way Axel and Saix obviously are, and is looking at 'Saix' with real fear in his eyes.]

W-what do you want, Saix?

['Axel's own fangs come out immediately in response to the threat, and he's positioning himself in a manner that suggests he's ready for battle. It's a little too stiff and a little to on the offense to be really Axel. Before 'Saïx' can respond, he's speaking as soon as the words have left Sora's mouth.]

Don't threaten me. I'm not here by choice. Restrain yourself long enough for us to talk, unless you want a corpse nearby as one of us explains this to him.

[He jerks his head in Sora's direction, eyes narrowed and still focused on Axel.]

[ The eyes looking back at him are blazing with that type of color that only the three in this room have, and move only once to Sora, which is when they'll soften, but immediately back to sharp when he focuses on Saix again. His stance gets tense, bent over slightly, as if he's ready to use agility rather than the offense that usually comes off of this body. Though, at least he'll speak, in the most collected voice he can-- which is nonexistent like his heart. ]

Get away from my life mate and out of my bed before I choose the last option.

What's going on? What's he talking about, Axel?

[he is so confused, and his fear is only rising at the mention of a corpse. he doesn't know why Saix would be looking at him like that, or why he would think either of them were his life mate.]

Happily.

[SIGH there's really no sense in him getting so worked up over something he can't feel right now. Saïx moves off of the bed, naked or not. He does not care. Don't wet yourself in excitement or anything. He puts a fair distance between himself and Sora to boot, hopefully in the direction of the closet.]

I am not Axel.

And I'm not Saix.

[ He tears his gaze away from his body and diverts it to Sora, his facial expression incredibly hard in comparison to how soft his eyes get again. ]

[so confused forever. he's inching his way back in the bed with the sheets firmly gripped to cover himself, feeling a little betrayed and bereft at how 'Axel' is acting. both of them are making him quite nervous.]

Look, maybe you two should um. Talk this out. Just talk, okay?

[Is there a robe or something nearby? A throw pillow? He's going to ease backwards toward the closet regardless, not appreciating the disadvantage being nude gives him. His eyes dart quickly between Axel and Sora, mostly because these are not his nanos, and they are making him feel drawn toward Sora in ways he really does not want. Since he entered the DR he's thought of Sora as nothing more than a child, with his only use in being a tool to taunt Axel. He does not appreciate this foreign attraction.]

What's there to say? He is in my body.

And he is in mine. We've switched, Sora, I am really Axel.

[ There's a slightly pleading note beyond that pure agitation that it's resorted in from calming down after breaking the door down-- ]

Saix, just go in the closet and put some damned clothes on my body, I don't plan to attack you right now.

...Axel?

[nooo, you do not pull the same reaction from him. if his nanos had anything to say about it, he'd be up for joining Saix in that closet. no puns intended.]

[Saïx doesn't have to be told twice. He disappears into the closet to find the simplest outfit he can. He's having more or less the same dilemma; these nanos draw him toward Sora, but mentally he could not care less. That's not his lifemate, ergo, he's uninterested. Though he wonders how this must feel from Axel's end. The thought is enough to make him feel better about his own misery.]

He's telling the truth. The man you're facing right now is your lifemate. At least at heart.

[Give him a moment to mentally laugh at his own joke.]

[ Whereas, Axel mentally is drawn to Sora, but his nanos are like ew it's another vampire. ]

And the man in the closet is an arrogant asshole who will get killed if he goes anywhere near my life mate ever again, via drained dry.

[ So, so not in the mood for jokes. NOT UP IN HERE. Also.. there's voices in here. Two other voices besides his own head voice, and that is bothering him. He has never heard that second one. He doesn't want to hear it. ]

Wait, how long have you two been switched?

[considering the room reeks of sex, it should be understandable that it's important to him who he was sleeping with before they ah, fell asleep.]

The jolt appears to have alarmed us both, and woken 'me' up. You can relax. I haven't the faintest glimpse into your lives leading up to the last few minutes. After all, I can't read your mind.

[Oh my, it sounds like he's hinting at something. Ha ha, Axel. If he has to be miserable, so do you.]

[ snarls. ]

I'm tempted to just say fuck it and off you, even if you are in my body. By the time you come back, maybe all of this would be over with, Isa.

[ OOOOOH HE USED YOUR NAME, WHAT'CHU GONNA DO WHEN THEY COME FOR YOU-- also, ahah, his voice sounds entirely like he is quite capable of doing that act right now. ]

[he still has no idea Saix ever even attempted to read his mind. he may as well be broadcasting his fear and worry right now though. he doesn't want anyone to fight, not over something like this, and not in their bedroom. he especially is afraid Axel will really go through with it if he doesn't calm down.]

Stop it, both of you! Axel, he didn't do anything, and I don't want to see you die!

Listen closely to your lifemate, Lea. He doesn't want to see you die.

[Also, he knows the exact strengths and limitations of his own body, and won't hesitate to kill if he's attacked. After all, that would just leave him in Axel's body for a while. Poor Sora.]

That is my body, my nanos, and my lifemate, exactly. I don't care if you have the first two, but you better fucking stay away from the third, no matter how much that body and nanos want Sora. But, before you keep away from him, I'd suggest thanking him. He's the only reason I haven't taken you out yet.

[ Hell, that would be one fight. Axel knows his own body, and probably knows a bit about Saix's fighting style (what with years of lol bfflies and shit) as well as they are now.. in each others bodies-- OH GOD, THE INSANITY. ]

[as emotionally attached as he's gotten to Axel, there is very little doubt that Sora would break down and cry if he died. there's no guarantee that Axel would come back, and the very idea of it frightens him. he feels like the best chance of that not happening is to somehow talk Axel down from his rage.]

Axel please, just.. Just come here?

[Ahaha. Yeah. Saïx sees no reason whatsoever to thank him, and doesn't. In fact, he'll remain silent but for the shuffle of clothing as he gets dressed. He intends to do that and get out of here as soon as possible, one way or another.]

[ Honestly, he does not want to get near Sora in this body, just because.. god, everything is so fucked up right now. He'll step forward, but his eyes are staying locked on Saix/the closet, whatever is in his vision right now. ]

[he isn't too keen on that body climbing into the bed with him, either. not while he has little on but the sheet. what else are they to do, though? when Axel gets close enough, Sora will reach for his hand in an attempt to hold him there. he doesn't want to risk Axel lunging at Saix when he comes out of that closet, because he doesn't want to see Axel or his body dead.]

[Most likely the closet. But he's out in no time, sporting the least 'Axel' outfit he could manage. It's probably very plain.]

Are you still after your own blood, or can I walk through without being murdered?

[ WHAT IF THAT WAS HIS FAVORITE PAIR OF JEANS-- ]

As long as you don't intoxicate my body in anyway, and keep it in as good of condition that I'll try to keep yours in, then you're very much free to go.

[ Obviously he doesn't move an inch, but.. that hand. Does not feel right. in this body. ]

[understatement of the century. Sora still isn't letting go though, even tightening his hold by adding his other hand to clasp around Axel's.]
