[New arrivals are common in the DR. But how many radiate light like this? And that's not just filled with Light. This new arrival is actually glowing.

From her shape it's pretty easy to tell it's a Namine. And the especially observant may notice that there doesn't seem to be any clothes hidden under all that light. But that's not too big a problem as the Light is bright enough to keep anything from showing. In fact, all that can really be seen is her hair, which has a slightly more blond glow than her body's white glow, and her eyes, which are still blue.

She's levitating a few feet off of the ground, and looking around, possibly confused. It's hard to tell when her face is so hidden.]

Huh.

[certainly not something you see every day. most of the people around here don't have that much Light. at least on display like that. even if he's pure Light himself, he only manages the glowy thing when actively using it.]

Turns her head to look at him. He, looks like Kairi. But...]

...Who are you?

[nope. he offers a kind smile, hands in his pockets.]

My name's Kai. What's yours?

[She sees that little Kai Kairi connection, and is even more confused now.]

Naminé. Thought so. I'm guessing you're new here? I'm pretty sure I would have felt you before if you weren't.

Well this isn't where I was before so I suppose you're right.

[Smiles a little.]

[he laughs a bit, nodding.]

That's how it works, yeah. This place is called the dressing room, and it's something of a crossroads. People get pulled in from different times, worlds, and even universes.

[A pause.]

...I'm guessing there isn't a way back, huh?

[his smile dies and he shakes his head, looking sympathetic.]

Unfortunately not, no. Some people go home when they die, but it's not always permanent. Sometimes people just leave the same way they came in, but it's never their choice.

[Sighs, and the brightness of that glow dims a little. Still not enough to show anything though.]

Hey, cheer up, it's not too bad. Some people aren't even here a month before they get sent back.

[Hmm...She's noticing her lack of clothing now.]

..I should probably find some clothes, huh?

Possibly, yeah. Don't worry, I can't see anything, at least. Want me to lead you to a closet? There's tons of free clothing everywhere.

[Follows-oh hey she's walking on air. Hmm. She takes a moment to try focusing on getting down to the ground before following again.

Well that wasn't too hard. This whole light body thing isn't so bad. Except for not having clothes. :|]

[at least she can get clothing! he's stopping soon after, opening the door to a large walk-in closet for her.]

Though when she walks out, she still has that glow, and she's wondering if there's a way to turn it off.]

[Well at this point in time, she has little to no control over her Light. Maybe if she knew how to control it, it might not be such a problem.]

[he looks her over, arms crossed and a thoughtful frown in place.]

You're sort of a walking target like that...

Well, you're a walking Light source, quite literally. You haven't learned how to reign it in?

Then you'll need to be extra careful. This place has its fair share of people who'd want to use you.

...What would they want to use me for though?

[She knows what they would use Kairi for. She's a Princess of Heart. But Namine doesn't even have a normal heart. She's just, made of Light.]

Power is power. You've got a lot of untapped Light, so much so that you're literally glowing with it. Someone somewhere here could find a use for it, I'm sure.

Good. Maybe you should have a room somewhere fairly close to the main area... it'd mean being seen more often, but it'd also mean more people around if any of the jerks tried something.
