[ Sorry, Xigbars, but it appears that some unseen force has taken control over the Snipers for this month. They're wearing rather festive scarves tied around their arms, and for the next few weeks, they'll be shooting arrows. Who are their targets? Everyone. Cupid's arrows have been set, and he is determined. ]
{ ooc: The arrows are color-coded, and each have different effects.Because most characters aren't stupid enough to fall for tea or chocolate tricks anymore! Technically, IC, they should start shooting on February 1st, but I'm posting this early to give people weekend time to work with. But they'll also be going on for a while. Your character can be hit, have their spell wear off, or have it last until February 14th, so don't feel rushed. We'll be having our other spell on Valentine's Day, so have fun with this one while you can!
❤ RED: Love Arrows. Where would we be without Cupid? Being hit by this arrow makes you fall in love with the first person you see!
❤ PINK: Aphrodisiac. This arrow makes you more... well, amorous, no matter who you're around.
❤ PURPLE: Cutesy Animals. Animals have long since become a big part of Valentine's Day, or romance in general. Romantic doves, stuffed bears... If hit by this arrow, your character will either turn into a (small) animal, or gain animal features.
❤ BLUE: Shakespearean Speech. Shall I compare thee to a summer's day? Shakespeare was considered a true romantic. If you're hit by this arrow, you'll be compelled to speak in this style!
❤ GREEN: Disney Princess Syndrome. Any true princess (or prince!) is known for their kindness to things big and small. Those hit by this spell will have a flock of (small) animals follow them around wherever they go.
❤ YELLOW: "Hearts" on sleeves. Wearing one's heart on their sleeve means to display their emotions openly for all to see. Those hit by these arrows will have their emotions plainly written, hovering in bold, glowing golden letters around their arm.
❤ ORANGE: Flowers behind ears. You know the tradition? A hibiscus flower placed behind your left ear means you're taken, while a flower behind your right means you're single! In this case, the flowers represent whether your heart is taken. So much as a mere crush puts the flower behind your left ear, and these flowers change color depending on who you're around! (Hint: Black = Hate. Red = Love. Anything between them is up to your interpretation.)
