[Anyone walking down this hall may hear some pained noises from behind the cracked door. It leads to a bathroom with an exhausted-looking Austin inside trying to change his bandages albeit shakily. His wounds are exposed- multiple horizontal indentations of missing skin tissue and muscle across his torso and upper arms.]

[ooc: Thanks to this, he's in the process of healing. But he's still got other things on his mind.]

She doesn't even flinch as she grabs the bandages from him and gets to work on helping him do it.]

[He just winces, looking down.]

It wasn't my fault.

[You're getting the silent treatment. She's too upset and worried right now, quietly curing him as best as she can. Damnit, why isn't she a better spellcaster.]

[After a couple moments of silence, he glances up at her.]

Are you even going to ask what happened?

What's there to say? I think these speak for themselves.

[Tightens her wrap on his wounds carefully to emphasize her point.]

Ow. He jumped me out of nowhere, there was nothing I could do.

[Just sighs in response, working quietly so she can finish faster. She can't lecture him, she knows it's out of his control.]

[He'll keep quiet until she's finished unless she has anything else to say.]

Anything else injured?

My pride?

[He breathes a slightly bitter laugh.]

...

[She has no witty comeback for that, so she just finishes him off with one more Cura.]

[He remains still and staring at the floor even when she finishes.]

[Hugs him gently enough so he won't get hurt, sighing.]

Just be careful next time.

[He hugs her close, resting his head against her.]

I need to talk to you about something.

[Pulls away to look at him.]

... huh?

I've been thinking a lot about it... and.

[He suddenly stops.]

Wait. This isn't right. This isn't the place.

What are you talking about?

[So confused.]

U-Uh... man, I'm so bad at this.

[He stands, taking her hand, and leads the way out of the bathroom.]

Just... follow me.

[Just follows, blinking at him.]

[He leads her down the hall a bit, into a different room, peeking in before grinning.]

This is it.

[He tugs her inside the door, an outside room with a big starry sky and a blanket lying there at the top of the hill.]

... are you sure you didn't get head injuries?

If anything, it helped clear my head a bit.

[He sits her down on the blanket, scratching his head a bit sheepishly.]

I can't tell. I hope you start making sense soon.

[Just staring. Wtf are you doin'.]

It's about what you were saying before... I don't want you to stay in our room for the wrong reasons. So... I want to give you the choice.

[He looks down, frowning.]

But first I need to be honest with you.
