[curled up in a chair in the library is Sora, dressed in a nice big sweater and... wearing a blindfold. which is rather odd, considering she's got a book in her lap, and several more stacked on the small table next to her. the books are all very plain; there are no pictures or even much colour on the covers, but they're quite thin. she's very focused on moving her hand slowly across the pages of the book in her lap, so try not to give her a heart attack. she won't see you coming, after all.]

[ Xigbar recognized what Sora was doing, and she recognized which Sora it was. It made her smirk. After all, it's been a while since she's seen this one, been a while since she's broken her heart! The sniper wanted to see how she was doing.

So, she warped right behind her, quietly because no one can hear you in space. She didn't recognize much of the braille letters because it was easier to feel them, so she didn't mind it as much. ]

People usually take a peek while practicing, you know.

[try not to startle too much when there's a feminine voice inches from your face, Sora. why are you feeling up the library's books?]

What are you doing?

[she jumps, the book tumbling from her lap. and then she freezes, because god does she recognize that voice. it's one she's been dreading to hear. there isn't a response from her; she just pushes the blindfold up.]

[ If Sora looked behind, she wouldn't be there anymore.

If she looked infront, though, Xigbar would be there instead. Hands on her hips, upper body bent forward slightly. ]

Hey, kiddo. You look like you've been busy.

[good job startling her there, Roxas. she nearly drops the book in surprise, tensing up for a moment before relaxing. she's pretty sure she doesn't need to worry about a Roxas.]

...reading.

[she presses back into the chair, eyes wide and mouth firmly shut. she's doing her best to not say anything. she doesn't want to get angry enough to start tapping into Darkness by mistake again.]

[psh, of course not. not with this one, anyway. she's straightening a bit, before running her finger along the lower edge of the blindfold Sora's still wearing.]

A little hard with this on, don't you think? What did you do, swipe it from a Riku?

I didn't swipe it from anybody! And I don't need to see to read this.

[...she's gonna tip the book in Roxas' direction, so she can see the pages that have no words, just bumps.]

That's... special, Sora. Really.

[Roxas has no idea what you are doing, you weird person, you.]

[she frowns and pushes the blindfold up.]

It's a real language, it's made for blind people so they can still read and stuff. I met a Riku who's blind, and it seemed neat, so I'm trying to learn.

What's the point, though? You can see just fine.

[she still thinks you're weird.]

...I dunno, I just thought it was cool, and it's something to do. I mean, I can't just train all the time, that's boring.

[ Xigbar was paler, but it didn't change her personality -- to an extent. She's been a very, very busy girl. The sniper tilted her head to the side, a brow quirked. ]

What, cat got your tongue? I'm disappointed you didn't even say a hey, you.

You could look for a way out of here, you know.

I don't have anything to say to you.

[that came out more vicious than she'd intended, her eyes narrowing a bit.]

[she looks away uncomfortably.]

I spent a month and a half trying. And people have been trying to for years now.

I dunno, it seems to me that most of the people I've seen so far are happy enough with free food and no real responsibilities to try very hard.

Hey! Plenty of people have tried! But when nothing comes of it, they try and be happy anyway. There's no point in being miserable here. I want to go home just as much as a bunch of people here. I'm not done there. I was in the middle of a fight when I left!

Whoa, calm down. What's so important, anyway?

Not even a "Hey, you're the lady that broke my keyblade"?

[just... go away, Xigbar. she doesn't want to deal with you. ;;]

[she spreads her arms a bit.]

The whole... saving the worlds thing? Or are you from a different kind of world?

[ No. ♥

She tilted her head the other way. Hey, remember that wormhole? One formed right beside her. ] Why not? I just wanted a little chat.

About what?

[Sora jerks away, then turns a surprisingly dark glare Xigbar's way.]

[ This is the beeeest, you know. She just pointed a finger up, and out went half an inch of pure steel from the wormhole. Maybe less.

Three guesses on what it is! It would only stay visible until she finished her sentence. ] I'm thinking of engraving it. Whatcha think?
