[Time to get back to work. Xeha's lab is open, today; he's busying himself with piles of external flash drives, notebooks, restoring the data he'd lost to the flood and not yet put back in place.

How to make a keyblade... somehow, after what he's seen recently, that goal feels strange. But he's determined.
He loads up another drive's worth of documents and sighs.

Not going to be easy.]

[Work or no, there's a dragon poking his head on inside the lab. He's still curious about the place, you see.]

[Hey look, it's a Braig!]

Up to something?

[Whazza-? Okay, he's seen stranger things. Maybe not in the lab itself, but still. He looks over, shoots a wry smile.]

Sorry the view isn't much.

Maybe it isn't the view that matters.

[There's what's... probably a grin at that.]

[He'll read it as close enough to one. Acting like 'oh, dragon, most normal thing ever' - well, it doesn't look like a Heartless or Unversed or anything else he's seen...]

What brings you looking around here, then?

Just sort of looking around.

[Five years. Five years, since those days, since everything that happened... of course, he might be jumping the gun, so to speak. Might not be that one. He'll answer pleasantly:]

Just putting some things back together.

Fair enough. I'd say come in, but there's an obvious snag with that. [Shrug.] As it is, welcome to my laboratory. ...Such as it is at present.

Wanna tell me about them?

[Because well. Curious Braig is curious.]

[He could probably manage to come in if he really wanted. But he'll stay mostly out for now.]

Doesn't look too bad to me

Well... [He shrugs.] Keyblade research, mostly. It's a project I've been at for a while.

[He laughs.] Maybe. But I'm used to things being a bit more organized.

Yeah?

Mmm. It was a lot better before the floods.

[iiiiiinteresting~]

What've you got so far?

A lot of data - light and dark level readings, analysis of magical outputs, logs of what chains are created under what circumstances.
Nothing I can put into practice, yet. That's a long way off. The one way I've seen proved works... isn't one I want to use. [A knowing smile.]

[Riku's looking in, a little tired but mostly curious.]

Lemme guess. Some things just don't sit right?

Yeeeeeah, arriving in the middle of that wasn't really fun.

[Aqua leans against the door frame, a pale green baby blanket with turtles on it folded over her arm.]

You been doing okay?

[He pauses, and settles on-]

Pretty much.

[-as he comes over to meet her with a smile on his face.] How about you? Been busy, I see?

You'd guess right. I'm not that kind of Xehanort.

[He gives a smile.] Ah - come in! Excuse the state of things, I've been trying to sort the place out.

You did? [He shakes his head-] That was just unlucky.

[He shakes his head as he enters, offering a small smile.]

Things in general have been a little messy around here, from what I've seen.
