[A door opens, and a Roxas looking to be seventeen or eighteen walks through, backpack slung over his shoulder. There's a bandage on his cheek. He looks pretty average, for a Roxas, and doesn't emanate any strange power upon first glance.]

[However, there is something a little notable about this Roxas, perhaps familiar for some. There is a bracelet on his wrist. A friendship bracelet, and it looks decently worn, though well taken care of. It seems to still be pretty sturdy, but it's definitely far from new.]

[He pauses in the hallway as the door he came through closes behind him. His backpack slips from his grasp, and he jumps in surprise and grabs it just before it hits the floor, bringing it up to his chest and hugging it tightly. His eyes wander the hallway in wonder, shock, and disblief. It seems he's just realized that his front door didn't lead him to his living room. But that's not all he realized.]

... N...no way...

[Yes way, Roxas.]

[don't mind that tiny popping noise off to the side, he's just sitting in a chair preoccupied with one of these. you might mind the tiny marshmallow pinging off your head, though... he doesn't realize he just fired one off.]

[Actually, at the noise, his head jerks. He sees who it is.]

[... And he catches that marshmallow between his teeth.]

[REMEMBER THAT TRICK?]

[well he happens to look up while absently nibbling on some of his ammo, and almost chokes on it when he sees that.]

[He's staring at you. And he eats the marshmallow. No, he hasn't forgotten the night he had those nightmares and we did this in the kitchen, and he also remembers the ticklefight on the floor afterward.]

[He also remembers everything else.]

[And that means he's dropping his bag on the floor, and raising his arms in an offered hug. Because he honestly doesn't think he can move to meet you, buddy, not with all the shock and the... feeling that he's home.]

[you look a little older, but that doesn't stop him from recognizing you on the spot- that gun is being tossed aside on the couch as he doesn't just get up, he leaps up and dives into that hug, so happy he could swing you around]

Roxas!

[He's only older to the point that he should be, after last time he left and came back. Looks like time didn't screw him over as bad this time.]

[He hugs him tight, and buries his face in Roxas' shoulder.]

... You're still here... [Thank God.]

[Rep nods. Definitely weird.]

Can't imagine what it's like.

... [For him? It's like coming home.]

[he still hasn't had his birthday here yet, as Christmas is still months away. also, he's so excited to see you again he's practically vibrating. if he were a puppy, his tail would look like a little fan on his butt.]

[He nods against his shoulder, making a slight 'mm' noise in agreement.]

[that has him grinning again, not minding that Roxas still has him caught up in a hug. he hasn't had one in a while, and it feels like forever since he's had one from Roxas.]

You can help pick out a new room, then! The uh, the old one kind of got flooded.

[It has been forever. ;A; Roxas is so fucking happy but he's not able to really show it right now. After almost a year back 'home', he's having troubles with showing emotions again.]

[if Roxas were to look, he still has a yellowing bruise to the side of his forehead, thankfully his only injury from the flood.]

There was a lot of water, practically everywhere. Riku had to help me, or I might have drowned. Our room is still really wet, and smells funny.
