[there's a nice big pot of tea on the counter of one of the smaller kitchens, freshly made. next to it is a large plate covered in assorted also freshly made cookies, and a smaller plate next to that with a small batch of peanut butter dark chocolate cookies on it. on the table is a bag with a few different food items in it; a couple packages of beef jerky, a tupperware container with some peppers, and another with, oddly enough, a few moon cakes in it. Kai is at the fridge at the moment, hunting for some bottled drinks to add to that bag.]

[Hey, guess who. It's your favorite female Riku, walking very slowly into the kitchen. Her posture's stiff and probably looks a little pained, and there is a fading bruise on lower left of her face, on her jawline. She's wearing a long-sleeved black shirt and baggy jeans and looks extremely tired. Probably because she just woke up. That may or may not be obvious by the puffy look to her eyes and the dazed way she stares at him.]

[he moves away from the fridge, closing the door and smiling at Riku. also that was totally a non-con Cure heading her way, to borrow the phrase from Ri.]

Hey. Tea? There's coffee, too. And I made you cookies.

[dawnrise]

[Oh that feels good. She doesn't mind at all. She relaxes a little, and then pulls her arms up to stretch her spine out.]

Tea sounds better. Where are these cookies?

[seasides]

The smaller plate by the teapot.

[he won't tell her what kind they are, she can discover that on her own. :3]

[dawnrise]

[She'll make her way over to investigate - still very slow, like she doesn't want to move her legs much.]

[he won't question it, considering the full moon just happened and all.]

Want me to move the plate to the table and pour some tea for you so you don't have to move as much?

I'll be fine. I haven't moved all day.

[She is so sore. But she can at least get her own cookies, and has discovered them with great interest. She's crunching into one now!]

Alright.

[in that case, he'll shoot her a smile and go back to looking for bottled drinks.]

[dawnrise]

[After that first bite the cookie is going back into her mouth to be held, and she's taking three more with one hand and moving to get a teacup with another.]

Things like this are just one more reason you're my best friend.

[Groggy Riku is affectionate. Also that was muffled by cookie.]

[he snorts and grins, glancing over his shoulder.]

So I'm your best friend for cookies?

[dawnrise]

That's just one reason.

[Looks like she's okay enough to be herself under all the tired. Once she's got her tea how she wants it, she's going to slowly move to sit at the table, placing the tea and cookies down before she does. Because sitting down is going to bring out a quiet hiss of pain.]

[does she need another Cure. he can totally give her another Cure. does she need healy massages on her bum.]

[She tore up her thighs, thank you. She might. But she's not asking for one. No, she snorts, moving for another bite of cookie.]

[well, tailbone soreness too, maybe? he'd totally give her healy massage anywhere though. :C CURE GET-]

[True, but she didn't claw at that. She's going to look at him calmly when that happens.]

[it would be worrying if she did.]

Appearances can be deceiving and all that. I just want you to feel better.

[She puts her elbows on the table and picks up her tea, which makes her sleeves slide down a little. No injuries are visible from here, but there is some dried blood on her wrist.]

[is he going to have to wet a paper towel and wipe that off or something.]

[Only if it bothers him. She hasn't noticed. She has tea and cookies for breakfast and feels exceptionally calm right now.]

[She shakes her head, carefully, because she's also taking a cautious sip of tea.]

[brb trying to ninja one of the packages of jerky. he's not reacting to Kai's presence in the room as if it's someone he knows, more like it's any other stranger who put food on the table and then turned their back on it.]

Alright.

[you know what, he needs some tea and cookies, too. he'll pause in what he's doing and get himself some tea, snagging a couple cookies off the big plate as he heads to the table.]

[no, he hasn't turned around, he just recognizes that presence.]

[She approves of this idea. Get over here so she can bask in light for a little while or something. Riku's eyes are on the tea, but she's looking pretty distracted. Or maybe just sleepy. ...or both. She definitely looks sleepy.]
