[Unfortunately for this Naminé, she's never been in water deep enough to need to swim before, and didn't ever develop the skill. It probably doesn't make a whole lot of difference right now, considering that she's clinging to what could possibly have once been part of some furniture that was smashed in the sudden flood but is now nothing more than driftwood. It's unclear whether or not she's even conscious, as her grip is loose and her head is resting limply against the wood, but she could just be exhausted rather than asleep.]

[She's okay! ...Well, she's waterlogged and exhausted and her arms are going to be sore for a week, but she'll be happy to see him once she actually realizes he's there. She's kind of not paying much attention to anything right now.]

Rather distantly she felt her arms lose their grip on the driftwood and, had she had the energy, would have tensed more than the tiny bit that she did.]

[Naminé was out cold for a while, but when she woke up it seemed like it had hardly been any time at all. She didn't say anything right away, but she did take a moment to look blearily around her.]

[Ven must be out on a rescue search. Don't worry, there are supplies around. And.

[But she stopped, suddenly noticing something a rather different shade of brown from anything else in the room. She stared at it for a moment, confused, then, still slowed down by her exhausted muscles, she leaned over to get a better look.]

[The chocobo is tiny, around chick sized. It's sleeping peacefully. Ven probably left it there because it needs napping company. There's a note right next to it.]

[It was a... bird? Some kind of bird. It definitely seemed to be asleep, but she still watched it out of the corner of her eye as she reached carefully for the note-- owowow her arms hurt, but she still managed to get a hold of the paper.]

["Hey. Be right back. I need to go back for Vanora. Keep Terra company, all right?"

[It had certainly been helpful of him to leave a note. ...Would he be able to find Vanora? Naminé had lost track of her in all of the excitement, but-- but surely she could take care of herself... right? A frown pulling at her lips, the girl glanced back down at the note.]

[...Wait, Terra? Naminé glanced around. She hadn't seen any sign of him when she woke up. Had he gone, too? Looking for Ven, maybe? ...How long had she been asleep?]
