[Roxas is up early this morning, around maybe five-thirty or six. From a glance, he looks kind of run-down, like he hasn’t been feeling all that well-- a little green around the gills, as they say. Right now, he’s pouring some ginger ale for himself and searching for some saltines, but they appear to be hiding from him.]

[Namine walks in, spots him immediately, and frowns worriedly.]

Roxas?

[He looks away from his searching when he hears her, speaking in a croaky voice.]

Hey.

[Stop that, you are not a toad.]

... are you okay?

[riiiibbit.]

Sure. Just a cold or something.

You should be resting.

[She'll just usher him over to a chair now.]

Couldn't sleep.

[He sits when directed, though. After grabbing his ginger ale.]

Should I make you some tea?

[She will go find him some saltines. Oh here they are, silly Roxas.]

Maybe some soup?

[He shrugs half-heartedly, laying his head down in his arms on the table.]

Okay, then.

[She's taking that as a yes and is going about making that for him. She ruffles his hair gently as she passes him, a small smile on her face. Maaaaan, she's happy to have her big brother back :>]

[Unfortunately, he's physically and emotionally sick right now. But he's grateful that little sis figure is willing to make him some soup.]

[Well little sis figure here can help both those things. Give it like five minutes and he'll have a nice warm bowl of chicken noodle soup being slid in front of him, with some saltines on the side.]

There you go.

[Then she moves to put water on for the tea.]

[He gives a sort of half-smile, glancing over at her.]

...Thanks.

[She says as she looks through the cabinet of tea.]

[After a while of silence, he speaks up, though quiet.]

If I ask you something, would you promise to be honest?

Of course.

Nothing's ever... happened between you and me, right? Nothing... weird or important that I can't remember?

[The look on his face says he's desperate to know the truth.]

Uhm....

[She has to think for a moment, just to be sure.]

No, I don't think so...

[He sighs heavy in relief at her words, relaxing again.]

Good. ...Thank you.

Of course... if there's anything you want to ask, just let me know, okay? I don't know everything, but we did talk a lot.

I just wanted to make sure thing were okay between us. Lately... I haven't had a lot of luck with friendships. So it's good to hear everything's normal.

What's going on?

[He sighs.]

Is it Ch-- Riku?

[That gets him to look up at her, expression reading certainly unhappy. And it sort of has that "thanks for keeping that a secret, by the way" look.]

Take a wild guess.

[...Pausing in the doorway silently, ears pinning back a little. He hadn't expected to see Roxas.]
