[ The rafters are occupied again. True, it's more attic than rafters in this corner, and you wouldn't see it unless you were really looking up there, but there appears to be... a leg, and a body, partially visible. They're wearing jeans and no shoes -- just bright yellow socks. Curiouser and curiouser, this disregard for proper clothing. Even better, if anyone managed to make it up there, they'd find Riku with her shirt unzipped mid-way. The summer heat must be getting to her. ]

[He hadn't expected. well, that much flailing. No, the spider wasn't talking, that was Red down on the floor.]

[You caught her at a bad time. Or rather, that spider really did, because who knows where it went with her arms flying all over the place. Riku actually does slip off the beam, but catches herself with one hand and hangs there. Her shirt is kind of still open, but at least she's wearing a bra underneath? :D]

[Why hello tits. He will just raise an eyebrow at her.]

Didn't think it'd catch you that off guard.

[There's some color to her face, and she glares, weakly. Then she's swinging herself so she can latch onto the beam with her legs and climb back up.]

I wasn't paying attention.

[was just passing by, but pauses when he catches a whiff of... something. something that has him backtracking and standing under where the scent is coming from. he actually hesitates, because HE wouldn't want to be interrupted, but... omg what if she was raped and left up there! D8 ]

...Riku?

[What the hell is wrong with you. No, seriously, what is it. Riku flinches, doesn't quite jump, and turns to peer down at him.]

Apparently. Why are you up there?

[He seems like he's trying to act like that whole second kiss thing never happened, but it's probably easy to tell, at least for Riku, that he's having trouble with it.]

[This is not a lie. Once she's sitting up again, properly, one leg over each rafter, she will be zipping her shirt up. Riku is carefully avoiding looking at him.]

[looks equal parts concerned and curious. also idk what's wrong with me. I had a shitty upbringing in which I did not learn about the birds and the bees, and had no social skills to speak of.]

[He looks about ready to shuffle off. Holy short threads, Batman.]

[She looks like she has no idea why he's asking! And man, someone needs to give him a book.]

[Because this is really going to help their little problem. Riku pauses and looks down at him, frowning very faintly.]

[Her tone has more to it than that, of course. There's an unspoken "why?" in there.]

[God what is he even supposed to say to the unspoken "why".]

I'm not sure I can get up there right now, though.

[Something! Anything, hell. She shifts so she's turned fully toward him.]

[flushes a little.]

Just checking. That's just... kind of a weird place to hang out.

[and I smell sex, so it's doubly weird. why can't you fap in your bedroom like everyone else.]

[Hold on, he's pulling up his pant leg; there's a nice big bandage covering most of the leg between ankle and knee!]

Not entirely sure. I was going through Halloween Town, next thing I know there's a bear trap on my leg.

[Cue Riku shrieking and flailing and grabbing onto the beam for balance.]

[She looks concerned, and like she's about to jump off the beam to come down there, but she-- stops.]

[nope. and it IS a weird place to hang out, whether you were fapping or not. :|a ]
