[This Roxas is currently on the ground on his back, looking up at the ceiling in a ballroom. His skin is pale and almost all bloody. He fought long and hard with this heartless and was seriously wounded. He is breathing but barely. He's not dead but he's staring at the ceiling like he is.]

[If he watches out of the corner of his eye, he'll see a bit of black smoke fading away as a Namine walks over to him. She's in a red dress rather than the white that most others wear, and as she kneels down, anyone who can sense the presence of darkness can tell she's not your average Namine.]

Why is it impossible for you Roxae to stay out of trouble?

[Here, have a couple Cures.]

[At first he felt a bad feeling but he wasn't sure what it was just yet. Roxas feels the magic in his body, regaining color back in his skin. He sat up and looked at the one who helped him. He was going to smile and say 'thank you' like any polite person would but it faded. She definitely wasn't the same Namine. Of course she didn't look like his Namine but...it just didn't feel right.]

Nami..ne?

[Casts another Cure just to be sure.]

How do you feel?

Oh..right. Is that still your name?

[Roxas blinks a bit at the other cast, holding onto his stomach where his main injury was. Even though she's not the same Namine, he feels somewhat glad to see her.]

My stomach hurts..but I'm fine. Thank you.

You're welcome. You should rest now, that was a lot of blood you lost.

[In another poof of black smoke, a bowl of water and a rag appears. She dips the rag in the water and moves to clean some of that blood off of him.]

[Roxas nods and winces at the cold water against his skin, also from the pain in his stomach and side.]

[She carefully dabs at it, her other hand idly running over his hair.]

Nothing's broken, right?

[He shakes his head.]

I don't..think so.

[He struggled to speak for a moment.]

How long..have you been here?

[She lets out a thoughtful 'hm' as she thinks about it.]

I'm not sure exactly. My memory was erased a couple months ago, but I think it's been about a year and a half.

That long? How did your memory get erased?

You sure do ask a lot of questions...

[She gives him a look, but after a moment, answers quietly.]

I'm a devil. And my superiors didn't like how comfortable I was getting here.

Oh..sorry.

[Roxas blinks and widens his eyes, but then winces in pain.]

..a devil?

[Well, this Kairi certainly didn't expect to find someone in the state Roxas is in... in a ballroom of all places. She was originally just exploring around the DR. Now, she's staring down at him with her mouth agape in horror. She's seen cuts, bruises, and gashes here and there, but nothing brutal like this.

Her first reflex is that of the gag variety and she fights to keep it down. She can't panic. He needs some help. What to do-What to do-What to do-An idea finally hits her and she pulls a vial out. Axel had given her a few potions for safety precautions. She was down to to her last one and it wasn't all that good, but...

Kairi kneels down and pops the vial open. She carefully lifts Roxas' head enough that he'll hopefully not choke on it as she gives him the potion. It won't fully heal him by far, but he will definitely feel better than he's feeling now.]

[Roxas drinks the fluid down and tried not to cough, giving him the gift of consciousness. He looked at Kairi, not having the strength to speak. He wanted to say 'thank you' but he really didn't have the strength to do it, only groaning in pain.]

Bat wings, pitchfork... the whole deal.

So that's how you can use the darkness.

Unfortunately, yes.

[Speaking of darkness, there are a couple tendrils of it rising up around them as Namine looks down at him.]

Do you have a room here that I can move you to?

[Roxas looked down a bit at the question. Throughout the whole time he's been here, he explored his whereabouts and hardly slept. He's slept whenever he felt extremely tired in a comfortable spot.]

..No. I don't.

[Those tendrils move in and wrap around him gently, slowly lifting him into the air as Namine moves with them.]

I know where there's an empty room. The heartless won't bother you there.

[Roxas eyed the tendrils warily, gasping as he was lifted up and carried. He was too weak to say otherwise.]

Where is it?

Kairi appears a little more relieved when he regains consciousness, lowering his head back down to the ground carefully. Still, he's not in the best shape. She nods at him firmly though, a serious expression set in her eyes.]

Don't worry. I'll be back.

[She quickly stands and runs out of the ballroom. Not far from it, she finds a bathroom. And inside, a first aid kit. Kairi opens it just to make sure it has all she'll need, grimacing as she does. She really wishes that she had picked up some spells right now. Why didn't Riku just let her go with him?

She stuffs a towel under her arm, then grabbing a washcloth which she soaks in the sink before departing from the room with it and the first aid kit held in her other hand. Hold on just a little while longer, Roxas. She's almost there.]

(OOC: Oh god, long reply~)

[Roxas just laid there, moving his hand to try to stop the pressure in his stomach and side. But he honestly didn't think he had the strength to do it.]

[Kairi finally makes it back to the ballroom. She practically slides across the floor into a knelt position when she's just feet away from him. She quickly looks him over before deciding to address the most pronounced of the wounds.

She looks scared but determined as she presses the towel to the nasty one on his side to stop the blood flow while she gets to work wiping the one on his stomach clean with the washcloth. She applies one of the creams from the first aid kit carefully and then dresses it. And then she moves onto the one at his side. Everything she does is careful and gentle but focused.

Despite all her concern, a small smile manages to find its way to her lips. One of comfort. That things will be okay for him. She doesn't say anything more to him for the moment.]

Down the hall from mine. It's not far from here.

[She's walking along beside where the tendrils are carrying him, glancing over every so often to be sure he was being jostled around too much.]

[Roxas nods and allows himself to be carried, trusting Namine.]
