Meanwhile, in another part of Side B~

[A dark portal suddenly flickers and errupts in a burst of dark energy. A Kairi comes stumbling out and shortly after crashes to the floor. Her first instinct is to look back.]

Axel!

[She scurries back onto her feet and starts for the portal, but it dissipates just as she reaches it. The young teenager reaches out at the wisps of black smoke that are slowly dispersing with it only to plant her hand on a glass wall.

She pulls back sharply. It's cold, after all. Then reaches out at it again to lightly press her fingertips on it where she can see she's made a handprint.]

What is this...

[Where'd the wall come from? Sora's been trying to figure that out for a while!

Which is why he's...walking on by, tracing his hands across the glass like a true dork. Whope! Did he just bump into Kairi? Seems like it!]

[Kairi jumps and nearly lands on the floor again. She wasn't really expecting someone to come up behind her like that is all. She braces, looks back while making a face, half expecting to see an Organization member after her. She's hoping for Axel.

Who she sees is neither of whom she was expecting though. It's some clumsy boy about her age. Kairi relaxes slightly.]

You scared me there for a moment.

[Oh, hey. It's a Kairi! An older Kairi, but a Kairi.

Sora gives a somewhat shaky laugh before grinning his trademark grin.]

Sorry about that! I should probably be more careful, huh?

[She laughs lightly.]

It's okay. Don't worry about it.

[She just thought he might have been some crazy Nobody, but nope. Just a boy. Just a normal boy. Well, she finally looks around now that her concentration on the glass has been interrupted. And... is a little bit confused. Doesn't seem like anywhere familiar. But then. Axel probably traveled more worlds than she could count on her fingers, she bets. What with the whole dark corridors deal.

Speaking of him...]

I wonder where he could be... He's usually never this late.

[She moreso mutters this to herself.]

He? Hey, are you looking for someone?

[Jumps again. Kairi really needs to pay more attention instead of wandering in her thoughts. She looks at Sora.]

Yeah, actually. Axel. He's a really tall guy with long, spiky red hair.

[She makes a hand gesture over her head to emphasize how long it is.]

Oh, he wears a black coat, too. Have you seen him?

Oh, him! Yeah, I've seen him before!

[Hmm, give him a second.]

I dunno where he's at, though. There's so many people here that it's easy to get lost.

[Kairi seems to brighten up again when Sora recognizes the description. At least he's here, right? Though why would he have left her? Oh well. She's sure she'll find him if he is around.]
