[If you've seen this Xion in the past few days, he probably hasn't been a ray of sunshine. He's frustrated, mostly with the Room's various Vanitae, but also with himself. Without the Keyblade, he's useless, weak, and can't seem to help the people who matter most no matter what he does.

It doesn't help that he hasn't seen Axel and Roxas in a long time, and he misses his best buddies.

After Curagaing the shit out of his arm (because that cast thing got old and fast), he's decided it's time to go through the weapons room. Feel free to spot him in there pawing through things, literally tossing this or that sword or bow or mace or whatever the case may be to the ground when he's not happy with it. A Xion in a bad mood is a grumpy Xion.

Looks like he might be in here for a while, too. Bother him, won't you?]

[Guess who. She's at the door with her hands in her pockets, looking tired and disorganized with her missing shoes (her socks are bright yellow!) and wet hair.]

[Starts a little with the weapons being dumped to the floor, having almost been passing by. Backs up and rests her hand on the doorway to look inside with a faint blink.]

[oh hey Riku. his expression softens a bit when he sees her, his movements slowing, though there's some confusion at her bedraggled state, too.]

[you might need to speak up, Ven. he's pretty absorbed in his search, making a noise of frustration from time to time. holds up a spear and makes a face. it's nearly twice as tall as he is.]

[starts a little. sup surpraiz Ven. Xion blinks at her, then shakes his head, suddenly looking a little lost.]

Not really. I don't know where to begin. I haven't had a weapon that felt right since the Keyblade.

[Riku slides away from the door and inside, making her way right into the mess of weapons. She nudges a shield with her foot.]

... I was practicing with a katana a while back. But nothing feels right. Plus it's a pain to carry it around.

[he's loathe to admit it, especially because of all the trouble it caused, but he misses the Keyblade, and it shows on his face. drops down to kneel on the floor, digging through a mess he made of a certain group of swords, and picks out a foil, sighing as he turns it over in his hands.]

Oh, you had a Keyblade too? [It doesn't really come across her mind why he can't use one now, but smiles a bit as approaches past most of the weapons on the floor.] Well.. I'd say start with something you can use with one hand. [Looks along the rack.]

And if you're used to fighting with a Keyblade, depending on how you fight.. gotta be something lightweight probably.

... did it feel weird? What was it like? Why did you lose the ability to use your normal weapon?

[She transfers the axe to one hand, lifting it up and staring at it as she thinks. After a moment, she drops it.]

It wasn't me. Everything was different... Brighter. I couldn't call the Way to Dawn because I didn't have that balance.

[She sounds a little bothered by that. It didn't take that long, really, but the process of going back to normal was not something she'd like to relive.

[sorry loses track of the conversation when the CROSSBOW FIRES!!, though it discharges its bolt harmlessly into a wall. Xion jumps about three feet in the air and quite literally flings the weapon from him, so it lands a few feet away, harmless now. who left that loaded?!

either way he's just staring at the bolt, embedded a good inch into that wall, with his hands over his mouth, visibly torn between horror and laughing. without looking at her]
