[ Normally this hall is quiet, secluded and separate from the more popular areas -- and it still is. All but quiet. Vicious growls and bangs come from one of the rooms, because something large and angry is trying to break out. The door is thick and solid and successfully preventing whatever it is inside from escaping, but it isn't discouraged. The sounds don't let up at all, and it's been going on for hours. There aren't many things that howl like that, and for anyone curious there's a safe way to investigate. A small opening provides a means to look inside the room. A window, before something punched through it, spilling glass and shredded, bloodied fur out into the hall. ]

[Shakes her head, pausing to clear her throat.]

I'll be fine on my own. All I'm doing is sleeping.

[Hesitates, then sits up as much as she can to look at the clock on her bedside table.]

It's morning. I won't.

Dying, maybe.

[That thought seems funny, but it's only because she's tired. Dying is not an option, but she can't think of any cures.]

Yeah. But I haven't found it yet, and I'm not finding it tonight.

[He stands again and heads for the door, pausing as if to say something, but decides against it and continues out, closing it behind him.]
