[ It's never a good thing when a Vanitas is happy.

And Creepertas is very pleased. He's waited and waited, faced with incompetence and idiocy. His patience seems to be rewarded...to a degree.

Still no sign of Master Xehanort, but the presence of a Ventus-- his Ventus, or so he's led to believe, is a very good start. It means he can pick up the pace, now that he has the right guinea pig.

The fact that he's met a competent double is just the icing on the cake.

Right now he's carrying a battered down cage and examining a few posters. The posters in question aren't the ones set up about him, but a few newer ones with much cleaner writing. About... heh, Terra.

Making it seem as though he's lost sight of his light is a good first step. ]

You mean that brat that Ventus used to stabilize his heart. Now that's interesting.

'Extra push'. [He folds his arms.] Still trying to finish your Master's work? Still want him in your hands?

Do you honestly expect me to turn over a new leaf?

[A faint dry smile.] I don't think you've got the leaves to turn over. I just wanted confirmation.

That's for me to know and you to find out... possibly.

It depends on whether or not your observation skills are as 'strong' as his.

I wouldn't even bother. How will you know which Ventus to find?

[This being Roxas... probably not. But he peers anyway.

This person feels like complete darkness. Everything seems to scream that fact aloud - the clothes, the language, the posture...

That voice is much too familiar for comfort.]

[Well. Good question, but he's not going to let Vanitas have the pleasure of the upper hand. Another shrug.]

I'll find a way. Maybe I won't focus on Ventus.

[ Familiar, and yet so different. His tone, his inflections... It's all colder, more malicious. Not to mention his voice seems deeper, too. ]

And yet... you're not him. Not even close. At least Ventus is useful, but you-- you're a cast off shell and nothing more.
