[There's a booming stereo waiting for everybody in an otherwise bare room. You'll find Roxas sitting next to it, staring at it in mild confusion and entertainment as it pumps out part of the Birth by Sleep score that he definitely does not recognise.]

Hmm.

[Little does he notice he's tapping his foot to the beat again.]

[In comes a blue-eyed brunette wearing a white t-shirt, black leather jacket, jeans. Pausing at the door, she tilts her head at the blonde in front of the streo then moves to stand beside him.]

Mind if I join you?

Y-yeah. It's fine.

[She sits down beside him and draws one knee up to her chest as she listens to the music. Soon she is humming along with it quietly.]

[He thinks she sounds rather good.]

...Do you sing? You sound like you'd be good.

[Blink. She wasn't expecting that question, but she nods anyway.]

Yeah I do actually. I just get stage fright really bad when I try to sing in front of people.

[She fidgets a bit, as if she's getting nervous just thinking about it.]

Oh. That's fine.

[There's something familiar about this girl... must be the eyes. Smiling, he stands up, and holds his hand out.]

Would you... like to dance?

[Cue Hikari playing on the stereo.]

[Cue staring at the stereo for a moment then laughing as she looks up and nods.]

Sure.

[She pushes herself up to her feet and shrugs her jacket off, setting it beside the stereo, then setting her hand in his.]

Gotta warn you though I'm not all that good.

[And then they dance and I completely fail at describing dances.]

Maybe you just... really have no idea how good you are. It can be like that sometimes.

[She muses to herself as she gives him a smile.]

[Have a nod as she keeps focusing on her dancing so as not to inadvertantly screw up. Yeah she's still a touch insecure about it, although you are helping her feel better some.]

[Once the song finally ends, she looks back up at Roxas with a giggle as she reaches up to brush a stray lock of brown hair out of her face.]

[Oh now she notices, and drops his hand, stuffing her hands into her pants pockets.]

[He imitates. They seem to be all business now.]

[She takes a deep breath and looks back at the stereo.]

Well...maybe I could sing for you...I mean...it's just us right?

[He's still wondering why she didn't want to earlier. He moves closer to the stereo, hand hovering over the button that he thinks means 'off'.]

If there's nobody else sneaking around, yeah.

[She wasn't sure if she could do it without chickening out at the time, but Roxas has helped her self-confidence a lot with all the compliments on her dancing, so maybe singing would work too. Anyway, she points out the off button then goes to checkto see if there's anyone else roaming around nearby. Satisfied that no one's around at the moment, she returns to the stereo and hums under her breath to get the key to the song right. Then she takes a deep breath and clears her throat before she starts singing in a slightly nervous soprano voice that gets less nervous the more she sings.]

[Then her voice trails off and she looks over at Roxas, rubbing the sode of her face with a hand.]

[She closes her eyes, feeling the butterflies disappear from her stomach, then she opens then and smiles at Roxas.]
