[What would be prowling around in the halls today? A hyena, and not just any hyena. His name is Ed, and he has a permanent grin slapped on his face, up until he realizes he is not with the rest of his hyena group as he should be. The hair on his back sticks straight up, and his grin turns down.]

[Well of course he'll begin stalking it, completely forgetting about the situation; Though he might give himself up by bursting into giggles.]

[Ed will hesitate, but then those giggles will turn into hysterics.]

[is on his way back from training in the simulation room when he spots the hyena down the hall, and immediately brightens, heading that way. keeps his voice light and friendly, and his body language non-threatening.]

Hey there, big guy, are you lost?

[Ed will give you the 'derp' face. A mix between a smile and a 'what' kind of deal for him.]

[How about a nice set of teeth instead of a head to land on?]

[crouches down several feet away from him and holds out his hand. even to a fellow as dumb as Ed, there's probably still something about Axel that just says "hyena".]

C'mon, it's okay, I don't bite. Much. Not without a good reason, anyway.

[And after a few moments, the hyena will begin laughing rather hysterically!]

[grins, leaning forward to support himself with his hands.]

What's so funny, crazyhead? Besides your face, I mean.

[Oh now you've done it, the poor thing is now in major hysterics. Ed is slowly moving a bit forward, but it only takes a second for him to be laying himself on the ground to giggle more; He is closer to Axel, yes!]

[reeeeeeeeaches and scritches the hyena's ears, still grinning.]

You're pretty special, aren't you.

[HOW ABOUT A SLOBBERY TONGUE?]

[still giggling, thanks oh so much.]

Jeez, if that's all I'm gonna get out of you, maybe I should let Hachibi out so he can try and figure out what's up with you.

[scritch scritch scritch. he's guessing this hyena doesn't have a lot going on upstairs, but even the stupidest creatures can communicate on some level.]

[Do you mind a little slobber, Axel?]

[I love slobber. :D ]

[Then you shall get!]
