[This little family has been laying pretty low lately. Mama has been busy sprucing up one of the rooms down the hall to become a classroom and playroom (he's currently working on hanging some curtains to keep the "sun" from the outdoor "room" next door in check), and of course has Kira no less than a foot away from him playing in a beam of warm sunlight. Please do ignore him babbling to her, because she's starting to try and babble wordlessly back, just in the beginning stages of figuring out the rhythm of language (which is even cuter with her little silver ears). And even though most people seem aggravated at their new feline accessories (if they haven't gotten laid), Rikka is overjoyed, since now, he and Kitty freakin' match.]

[There is someone suddenly peeking inside, holding onto her own baby, who is sporting his own wittle pair of ears. Aden also has a decent grip on his tail, the end of which is soaked in drool.]

*Sora looks over from atop a ladder where he was hanging a curtain and grins*

[leans on the doorway, glaring at him. There's a splint on her right arm. Akane is with her as usual, just chilling out in her stroller. Tybalt followed too, and wanders into the room to investigate- here's a real kitty for you, Rikka!]

*Rikka indeed goes to investigate the Kitty, and Sora is watching closely to make sure it doesn't bite or scratch him. He does look a bit confused about that remark though and raises an eyebrow -- guess who Ri didn't tell about this little incident*

Oh, really? Because he nearly killed me the other day.

[here is the oldest of the brood-- he's returned to their little group of rooms to visit for a few days! he's relaxing, and munching on a cookie and watching everyone else. yeah, the lack of ears is definitely embarrassing around his family, but he's chosen not to let it bother him too much.]
