[Vanitas was just relaxing after his training, sitting on a couch and reading a book of magic, and not noticing the fluffy black cat tail or the black cat ears he now has. The ears are probably only noticeable due to his lack of helmet. He's wearing casual clothes today. Probably cause he's noticed that people dont seem as suspicious of him as when he's in his armor.]

[She's actually liking these ears and tail! But hmmm, casual Vanitas, that's an unusual sight.]

[Don't mind him. He's just sitting here reading and not noticing that he has cat ears and tail now.]

[Walking closer cautiously... but he seems different.]

[...Looks up at her....Cat ears? Have a confused look.]

...You have cat ears.

[His own ears twitch slightly.]

I'm not the only one. [Slightly mischievious smile.]

[Blinks. Looks around. Still doesn't notice.]

It's a spell going around. It happens sometimes.

Spell?

[Looks down at his book of magic. He hasn't read anything in it so far that mentions cat ears.]

Trying to blend in?

[ Why yes, he's just there. Right behind the couch. ]

[Turns to look at him and nods.]

I'm not strong enough yet. I'd like to avoid making too many enemies until I know I can beat them.

[Hey look. He's gotten better at talking!]

They're not normal spells. Stuff like getting stuck somewhere or switching bodies or genders.

...Oh.

They usually only last a day or so. Although... well, this one seems more... revealing? I'm not sure. It is a bit different than usual. Though, I guess that's not saying much, around here.

(His own, tweaking gently underneath the white hood of the cloak he wears, sort of swirl around until they catch the small sound of pages turning. Ever curious, he walks over, unperturbed by his appearance.)

How is it revealing?

[...Looks up as he walks closer, curious about what he wants.]

You haven't seen the flyers?

(And now he's invading personal space and now he's. Holding Vanitas' ears.)

[Blinks and shakes his head. He got hit with the spell while reading. He hasn't seen any flyers yet.]

[Asjfkd-what? He didn't know there were ears up there! Jerks his head back away from those hands.]

They... tell you about the spell. It's never happened like this before. Whether you get ears or not depends on whether you're a virgin or not.
