[it's taken a year and a half, but a certain little yellow chocobo has finally grown enough big to ride safely! though, Bawk is still a good several feet shorter than the adult chocobos, but it is able to carry around a 7 year old who is on the small side without any issues.]

[careful where you tread, lest you run into a tiny cowboy and his chocobo as they try to herd a stampede of baby chocobos down the hallway: Sora is even wearing a little cowboy hat and miniature stirrups. unfortunately this cowboy is panicked; the little ones accidentally escaped when he went to fetch Bawk.]

No! Go back home, you guys!

They're 'sposed to go back home, but they won't!

[that's one minute too long, apparently! oops, the crowd of chocobo chicks starts stampeding toward Ri when they hear his voice.]

*the chicks probably recognize him as the bringer of greens, so he quickly kneels down and holds out his hands so the chicks can climb him*

[well, Bawk heard its name, so it trots on over, though it's making a point to avoid the chicks-- look Ri, it comes up to your shoulder, now!]

[here comes a flurry of feathers: chocobo chicks are scrambling over to Roxas, peeping madly and intent on climbing.]

*Roxas looks a little confused as to why they're coming so close, and steps back a little bit*

We didn't mean to let them out.. I went to take Bawk for a ride an' they just ran out!

[reaches up and scritches Bawk's head, pouting.]

[the word 'shoo' is a mystery to the chicks; they start climbing all over Roxas gleefully! he now has several feathery accessories.]

Uh huh! An' this is Bawk!

[Bawk warks in greeting, trotting over to peck at Roxas curiously. well, it's more of a nudge with its beak, so it doesn't hurt any chicks.]

*he strokes Bawk on its beak, sort of enjoying all of the birds' attention*

*starts redistributing chicks, putting a couple on Bawk's feathery back*

[Sora busily plops some peeping chicks onto his hat- so that's what cowboy hats are for! once he and Bawk are all loaded up, Bawk starts slowly walking back toward the stable, though it's warking at Ri like it's trying to tell him something.]

*crouches down with all the birds*

Yup. I don't know how it happened, though. So do you wanna take these back to uh. Where they live?

[he looks disappointed at Roxas' answer, and sort of pulls his hat over his face-- Bawk will lead the way back to the stables.]

*he doesn't notice, and helps walk the chicks back to the stables, looking around as he goes*

[once they arrive, he slides off of Bawk carefully and runs off to the stables to fetch some greens! he hopes to lure all those chicks back behind the fence.]

Hey! Lunch time!

[flails a little when Bawk reaches waaaay down and tries to steal a green from him.]

[Bawk warks again, and nips at Ri's shirt. it's just being affectionate; it misses its family back in the room now that it lives in the stables.]

You just want attention, huh? Well, Poco might be coming to the stables soon enough. He's getting big, too.
