Well, this is unexpected.

[there is a redhead here. he looks to be in his early thirties, and is definitely not an Axel! despite the icon, he is in fact wearing a shirt, as well as a pair of faded jeans and no shoes. he just looks around, casually bopping a Heartless on the head with a Keyblade that should be quite familiar to anyone who knows Kai. there are a number of hearts already floating up and fading; seems he came in fighting, as many future folk do.]

[Well this woman turning the corner should be pretty familiar - but maybe not that thing she's holding, or the soft cooing coming from inside it. Maybe not that very surprised expression, either.]

[okay, yeah, the baby thing isn't so familiar. but somehow, he's just not all that surprised!]

[Riku just looks at him, then gives a big smile, heading over.]

How many of you are hiding here by now?

[finishes off that last Heartless and dismisses his Keyblade. can has bff hug?]

Several.

[Yes please, do want hug. She'll even set the carrier down for a nice big one.]

I don't know why I even bothered looking.

[tsks. she's getting a massive hug, yes, even lifting her up a bit. he gets a mischievous look to him as he lets go.]

Have you lost weight?

Have I? I didn't notice.

[Massive hugs are even better than big hugs. She'll try not to squeeze the life out of him.]

I think it's sitting in that carrier.

[oh please, like he would care if she squeezed the life out of him.]

Guess I haven't technically lost it.

[She'll do that later. Brb pulling away from him to crouch down and pull Aden out of said carrier.]

Not until that extra weight learns to run away.

[oh, babby. can he hold?]

True enough.

[That gets her grinning, and she's standing up straight again, turning Aden around so Kai can see him very well and in fact take him if he wants to.]

[he'll indeed take him carefully, grinning as well.]

A good combination of you guys.

[She smiles and slips her hands in her pockets, moving to his side so she can be close to both of them.]

I'd like to think so.

[Aden looks quite fascinated with this new face, and flails one of his arms to reach.]

[he's helping Aden reach, bringing him closer so he can get a good look in those eyes, expression soft.]

[Aden's quite pleased with getting a grip on Kai's face, and continues staring at him for a few seconds before he breaks out in a big smile. It makes Riku smile, too, looking between them.]

[brb going cross-eyed at the babby on purpose.]

[Aden giggles and flails and might accidentally smack him, oops.]

I think he likes you.

[pff, he's dealt with at least a couple babbies by now, thanks. he doesn't mind the smack.]

Well hey, who knew? He's not used to so much light.

[She pokes the side of his head, while Aden dribbles and wiggles and flails.]

So you went looking?

[you can has the sound of squealing and the clickclack of heels on the floor before a silver-haired whirlwind launches itself at you]

UNCLE KAI! UNCLE KAI! UNCLE KAIIIIIIIIIII!

Not too far, of course, but yeah. Axel's going to raise a fuss now though.

[and he picks her up, using the momentum from that launch to spin her around.]

Hey pretty lady! What are you doing here?

[ . . . pauses to stare, open-mouthed and wide-eyed, on his way to the kitchen. holy hotness, batman.]

[she wraps her arms around your neck, kicking her feet a little as she dangles; her Heart is bursting with joy because she recognizes you and you recognize her]

I was chasing Rikka and we both ended up here. We're in the past! And I met you, but it was a younger-you because you were only a little older than me and he wasn't so wrinkly but still didn't dress well.

Definitely. But maybe he'll show up. That seems to happen... after a fair amount of time, anyway.

[Eh, she shrugs.]
