[In one of the rooms, it's really cold for no apparent reason.

Upon closer inspection, though, you might notice there's a person-shaped piece of space that looks more like a proper person shape the longer you look at it.

Ghost ambiance and ice powers? No wonder it's cold. And if you listen:]

[ Why is it cold. Why is it so cold. Do not want.

And so, Xigbar wanted a fire, or if there's a heater in the room... Nah, setting the spell was faster. The several wooden chairs to the right would receive a firaga. Warmth. ♥ ]

Hm?

[He can tolerate the cold... sort of well, for the time being.]

[Why did it have to be fire?! Cue one ghostly entity dropping the temperature in the spots not reached by fire even more. Not being solid is so inconvenient; he misses his ice already.]

Was that necessary, you juvenile?

[ -- Hm? A familiar voice, kind of! She turned around to see the translucent form of... ]

Vexen? [ A tilt of her head, she stares. What is this. ]

[Lexaeus. Not as hated as the rest of the Organization. The temperature won't change, sorry, but the person-shaped space might become a little more 'solid.'

And he's just going to stare, deadpan.]

Hm indeed.

[He just looks at her, raising an eyebrow slowly and giving her a haughty stare. Just like old times amirite.

Except she's female, which is. Not right. But he'll let it go because, well, he's dead and weird things just don't surpass that.]

No, I'm someone else's bitter ghost.

Then clearly someone else's bitter ghost won't mind if I turn up the heat, riiight?

[ See the icon. It is her face. Score? ]

[His eyes narrow in what might be dangerous (or at least the threat of yelling) if he wasn't. Dead.

It gets a little colder in the immediate area, though.]

You wouldn't dare.

You're right. I wouldn't. Not my element at all.

[ And then she gets out... two sticks of homemade dynamite. She enjoys science her way. ] I think these would object, though.

[Even death Vexen doesn't get a break. He is wondering if dynamite will do anything to him except ruffle his intangible feathers. He would still be annoyed, at least.]

Do not light those.

If you tell me how you returned as a ghost, I won't pull out the lighter.

[ 'Lighter' and not Fire or matches, but she'll be nice. Xigbar uses said sticks to see if it would move across Vexen's ghostly body with no problems whatsoever. ]

[He takes a step back from the offending sticks. So rude, Xigbar, really.]

I haven't ascertained how my current situation is possible as of yet.

Death seems to have been unkind to you.

[A moment of silence while he thinks things over.]

Have you had time to acclimatize to that form yet?

I have enough control to move and maintain a sufficient level of visibility.

I would imagine the intangibility to be an inconvenience.

It has numerous drawbacks, yes.

This is not Castle Oblivion.

The popular name for it is 'the Dressing Room'.

I've never heard of such a world.

Neither had I, until my own arrival here.

I see. And what conclusions have you drawn?

It is a world with... unique possibilities. Taking advatage od them my not be easy, however.

I may have difficulties taking advantage of anything this world has to offer.

Can you not affect the world like that?
