disappointing

[one might expect to find Sora out and about playing with his new presents on Boxing Day- and this is a semi-true idea; there are indeed toys and books scattered about the hallway- he isn't paying them much attention at the moment, however.]

[he's sitting in front of a closed door, staring at it intently like he might pull it open with mind power alone. waiting patiently has never really been Sora's forte, but there's an expression of determination on his face as he watches to see the people he's hoping to see walk through the door.]

Where are they?

[it's only a day late. Santa's allowed to be a day late, right?]

Sorabug... I don't know if Santa can bring your Momma and Daddy here. I think that... if they want to come, that they have to get here by accident. I'm not sure, though.

Sorabug... oh, you were a super good boy this year. Santa can do anything, of course! But... this place is different than... where we come from. You remember, how you got back home that time, but then when you opened your closet again later, you couldn't get there?

That's because... this place just sort of does what it wants with you. It's all... random. That means that it changes all the time. So... one day, your Momma and Daddy might come here. But it will have to be random. An accident. Santa can't make accidents happen.
