[Someone's wandering down the hall that leads to the game room today, a cup of tea in hand and a rather persistent kitten at his heels. He doesn't seem to mind though, glancing back every now and then to make sure the cat's still there. Seems it's taken to following him around in place of Namine today.]

[When he gets there, he will find his girlfriend playing something familiar to Riku. AKA kh1, and right now she's watching as Ansem takes over Riku's body and attacks Sora.]

[~~Let the trauma begin.~~ Stops dead in the doorway, just. watching in some kind of horror. And of course, Max has to pipe up and start mewing now that Riku's not walking.]

Max? What--

[Turns and sees Riku, dropping the controller. Well. she didn't really want him to know about this, but now that that's out of the question, she's just going to sigh and pause the cut-scenes.]

I wanted to know what your life was like before... but I didn't want you to feel pressured to tell me.

[Well either way, now he feels pressured to tell her about it. Not that he likes even thinking about it, but.]

...You should have just asked.

I just didn't want to push the subject. I'm sorry...

[Pauses, looking down.]

[Just ashamed beyond belief.]

Because Namine thought he was too cute not to adopt.

[Right on cue, Max is peering up at Sora and mewing.]

[crouches down to look at the kittyyyyyy.]

...you better hope she doesn't find more cats, then.

[Stays silent for a little bit, watching him, before just standing and heading over, wrapping her arms around him in a hug.]

I think one is plenty. I'm not about to let her become a crazy cat lady or something.

[...Cue strange mental image.]

[Tenses a little, but doesn't pull away.]

[...yeah snickering at that image.]

Besides, it's not like I mind having him around.

[Bends down a bit to pet Max.]

Where've you been, anyway? You always seem to disappear for a while.

[scratches the back of his neck. not going to tell him about the damage he possibly took when he ran into Xurik, since that thread is still going at a very slow pace.]

[hey, he tried to leave and Xurik shot him with magic!]

I haven't really been doing much... oh! That girl Riku, the one from before the whole Ansem thing before I slept, she came back just after Halloween. I ran into her when I was still a mouse. That's about all that's happened, though.

[He's... really not sure which girlku you mean, but who cares, as long as he doesn't have to interact with her.]

Well, at least you aren't missing any limbs. So you can't blame me for anything.
