[Someone seems to be sitting right in the middle of the hall, looking down at a sketchpad. Oddly, he doesn't seem to be aware of his current location, much less that he's probably blocking the way for some people. Nope, he's pretty distracted right about now...]

There are... a lot of odd things that happen here. Spells and stuff. Not to mention some not so nice people...

I'm pretty used to people like that.

Ones who torture and kill for fun?

... Okay, maybe not that bad.

The worst part is, even though there are people around who can kill them, death isn't permanent here. They just come back.

... I heard that Ansem's like that. You can't kill him.

It's different in every dimension.

It happens to a lot of people. They arrive, and then friends of theirs arrive after them.

Then I guess all I can do is wait.

Do you, um. Want a tour or something? So you at least know where the kitchen and stuff is.

[shrug. Not that he...knows how to use a kitchen.]

Okay, let me just drop this stuff off at my room real quick, it's not too far from here.

[He'll just follow along. Not like he knows where else to go.]

[heads to his room and drops off the basket, then starts toward the kitchen, covering his mouth to muffle a yawn.]

[Following still. Gee, Kai, why so tired?]

[because not sleeping well. eventually enters the kitchen after a quiet walk.]

So any food in here restocks itself. That way we don't all starve.

How's that even possible? Some kind of magic?
