I can't seem to move my left arm.

Come over and let me see it.

[grumble grumble, he walks over, holding out his arm with a small wince.]

[Gently holds it with one hooge arm, and runs a finger up and down the underside slowly.]

How long ago did you lose the ability to move your arm? What were you doing at the time?

[he shudders, squeezing his eyes shut tightly before opening one to look kup at him.]

... probably four months ago. I've gotten the feeling back in it, but I can't move it at easily...

[sucks in a breath. chooses his words carefully.]

I was training.

You're withholding information. What happened during training?

Self-defense? Like all that cool karate stuff?

Karate is but one form of martial arts.

[softly] Um, Lexaeus?

Yes, Namine?

[cradles her head] I've been recently having headaches. Do you have anything that might solve the problem?

[Lifts up Namine's hair, pulls off one of his gloves, and softly presses his palm to her forehead, and pausing as he feels it.]

[small growl starts in the back of his throat, before he sighs, defeated.]

... Axel showed up and scared the hell out of me. I blacked out, and woke up with no feeling in my arm. I don't know what else happened.

[Turns over the arm, looking for burn marks..]

[she totally feels that his hand is cold] Lexaeus, what were you handling before? Ice?

[nothing, nothing, nothing, not--ow! he hisses, almost pulling back his arm when his hand goes over his elbow...]

[Lifts Riku's arm back, folding the lower half to be on top so as to get a good look at the elbow.]

[Pulls his hand back, reaching into his coat, and pulling out - a digital thermometer.]

[stare....well, better than nothing....] ...okay.

[she takes it and does as she is told, fiddling with the wristband while she waits]

[there seems to be a very dark line just out of Riku's own sight.]

Were you aware of this mark?

[Gives it a very gentle touch with his index finger.]
