[someone has finally found some munny to drop into the old Fortune Teller machine in the game room! Riku watches in awe as the creepy gypsy behind the glass lights up, looking into her crystal ball to read his fortune. a moment later a card slides into the tray in front of him, and he picks it up, trying to read it.

he doesn't seem to notice when his skin starts to turn paler, or that his clothes have changed to look like this, or that his hair has grown out into delicate-looking curls.

what he does notice, is that when he opens his mouth to try reading his fortune, nothing comes out.]



ooc: his fortune: a silent mouth is sweet to hear. he's half-doll as a result. what's your fortune? -oh, and that machine? unplugged.

[turns when you call his name, his face lighting up. His mouth moves in the familiar, 'Chichi!', but no sound comes out as he runs up to you]

[doesn't he look adorable in his little lacy dress? he shrugs his shoulders at you, and seems to have noticed the dress now. when he tries to tug at the collar it seems to be.. attached there.]

[looks up at you, not really understanding what's going on. the dress is attached at the cuff of the sleeves too, but the bottom is open, and he's wearing dainty cotton panties that match the dress underneath]

[he can hear just fine! he opens his mouth to try to answer, but when nothing comes out he just nods. you might notice he's a little lighter than usual, given his body is now half porcelain though]

What were you doing before it showed up? Just... point. or something.

[tilts his head at you curiously, then holds out his card and points over at the fortune teller machine]

[looks down at the card, then glances at the machine and heads over to it.]

[it isn't even lit up, since you haven't put munny into it. if you look, you might even find that it's actually unplugged.]

[yeah, he's looking around for... instructions or something. and then he kicks it when he finds none. :|]

[no, he's just annoyed at the lack of any mention of something like this. he doesn't know if he wants to chance getting a fortune of his own.]

[probably wise, as his fortune came true rather quickly. he's just watching what you do, and picking at the dress still]

[shakes his head no, then points at the coin slot]

...I don't know if I should do that. What if something happens to me, like what happened to you?

[shrugs his little shoulders, kicking his feet in the air. aside from not having a voice, this doesn't feel very different to him. who knows what his skin feels like now to you though.]

[it's very, very creepy. after a long moment of indecision, he carefully sets Riku down and moves to put something into the coin slot.]

[lights on the machine start flashing, and the fortune teller suddenly jerks to life, her glass eyes staring at you before she looks down, a mechanical arm motioning over the suddenly smoky crystal ball. a minute later a card drops into a small tray, and the lights die back down]

[hesitantly picks the card up, reading over the fortune. Love is like sweet medicine, good to the last drop.]

...well that's not ominous or anything.
