[It had all started out as a seemingly harmless, generous offer on Sora's part to "switch"; and Roxas, of course, had jumped at the opportunity. Neither of them had foreseen things winding up the horribly muddled way that they had, though, with Roxas taking over completely, inadvertently silencing Sora's consciousness in the process.
Sora was still alive — Roxas could feel it with every beat of his Other's heart inside of his chest. But try as he might on his own, Roxas was unable to push Sora back to the forefront and change back.
Roxas needed answers — and soon.
It was a very small consolation to discover that he could still in fact use the dark corridors, given that they were a much faster means of travel than the Gummi Ship, but Roxas was pretty sure that this was definitely not a location he had been aiming for after emerging from the portal.
In fact, this was downright weird.]
