[Marluxia steps out of a portal and into the Dressing Room, his expression settling into a sneer as he pushes back his hood and takes in his surroundings.]

Are the vines really necessary here?

[struggles, annoyed by the fact that he can't summon his keyblade like this.]

Don't worry, Kai. Those aren't the vines that hurt.

[aaand here comes that kiss; Marluxia's lips press against Kai's almost tenderly as he produces a small strawberry with a flick of his wrist, pulling back briefly to press it into Kai's mouth before he can form a protest and swiftly following it with his tongue to push it so far back he has no choice but to swallow or choke]

[makes several loud noises of protest until the strawberry is being shoved into his mouth, then reluctantly swallows, moving to aim a kick for whatever part of Marluxia is closest.]

*well... uh... that was not the sort of reward it was expecting its Master to give and it looks sad but doesn't say anything, since it has no right to*

[pulls back, licking his lips because mm, strawberry; his shin will have one hell of a bruise later, but his mission was accomplished- almost]

Oh, and before I forget... Something to keep the nightmares away.

[smiles and draws a small pouch with a strong scent of chamomile coming from it from deep inside his sleeve, tucking it into the back pocket of Kai's pants with a firm pat and brief squeeze]

Come, Riku.

[Yes, he is walking away and leaving Kai like that.]

[yeah he'll just be over here gagging horribly and looking a cross between furious and disgusted.]

*it hesitates for a moment*

... I'll see you later, Kai.

*then it trots off, obediently following behind its Master*

[is very impressed with how the replica behaved, and when they turn the corner he's actually going to turn and wrap his arms around it in a warm hug, because it didn't even try to so much as lift a finger to help Kai out of Marluxia's vines while its master had his back turned]

I am very proud of you, Riku. You passed my test with flying colors.

[k well he'll just be over here struggling for a minute before he gives in and just. lets out a burst of cutting light to destroy the vines, removing the chamomile from his pocket and throwing it hard in the direction Marluxia and tinyRi went, then storming off down the opposite way.]

*it is a bit surprised by the hug, since Master doesn't usually do that sort of thing, and beams happily*

Proud? Really? I didn't know there was a test!

[it's a very rare occurrence that he would do such a thing in public, too; he's drawing away from you, though he does caress your cheek fondly]

Oh, yes. You see, after being here on your own so very long, I'm afraid that I had to be sure you truly remembered where your loyalties lie. I do believe I have finally decided what your rewards shall be, just as soon as you find me a suitable place to stay while we are here.

*looks a little upset with that sort of test*

[bends to give you another kiss, this one leisurely and tasting faintly of strawberry and Kai]

*it tips its head up into the kiss, though is still wondering about your strange actions... you're usually not very affectionate, though maybe you really did miss it lots and that's why*

[nips your tongue sharply as he pulls away, giving you a small push to go ahead of him]

Enough dawdling, now. Unless you have other people you would like to see accosted in the hall.
