snoozing

[someone not paying attention might miss this guy -- he's sprawled out on his stomach across the couch in one of the busier areas of the dressing room, blanket draped lazily over his shoulders. it doesn't seem that he's been there very long.]

[at least, he would be easy to miss if it weren't for the occasional snore, and the sound of a bell tied around his wrist jingling whenever he shifts.]

[snorts upon hearing Sora's voice, and turns to blink up at him sleepily. he doesn't really seem to be entirely awake, though.]

[it's taking him a minute to sort of wake up and process what he's seeing, although he's still confused by that look Sora's giving him. he starts to prop himself up on his elbows.]

[he's still confused, but he slings his arms around to return the hug. Sora might be able to notice how much weight he's lost; he hasn't eaten since first becoming infected.]

*he sits on the bed, tucking blankets around you*

He told me about... your infection. And what happened. And how you... how you died. But you're safe now. You're safe and we won't let you go.

[his face suddenly goes blank, and he curls up real tiny underneath the covers, bringing his hands to his head.]

[jingling and snoring! he yawns and rubs at his eye a little, but still remains asleep.]

You did, and I didn't see you for a long time I thought you'd be home soon! I... understand why you left, but it didn't make it any easier when I found out you were gone.

*looks like he might cry again, and stands up*

I'm going to make you a sandwich, you need to eat. Don't go anywhere.

*he's so sorry, but he was about to break down in front of you (you can blame hormones for some of it); he comes back with a stack of turkey and cheese sandwiches and a pile of taffy and some cold sweet tea*

Hey... I brought you something to eat...

*and he comes and sits gently on the bed, but before he lets you eat anything, he wraps his arms around you and gives you a very tender, sweet hug*

I missed you. We were so worried.

[just latches onto Sora for dear life; he's not doing a very good job of keeping himself from breaking down, though, smothering his face in Sora's shoulder so he can't see him crying.]

I-I know, and so am I, for always treating you like a child! I j-just want you to be safe and happy, and then I can be at p-peace. I love you so much, Sorabug... and so do Ri and Rikka.

I actually recall my grandpa's furniture to be old and climbed upon xDDD;

It's okay, 'bug. Things like this... it's okay. We were just... really upset that you were gone. Ri is... you're gonna need to give your Dad lots of hugs. He had to do something that he would never dream of, and it hurt him a lot.

*smiles a little*

Rikka's missed you lots, too. He drew you lots of new pictures while you were gone. He'll be so happy to see you... I might have to hold him back.
