[Somewhere, where there wasn't one before and conveniently in a location that is fairly well traveled, there is a kid. Or rather, teen. And a fairly skittish one at that, wary eyes taking in this strange new place as he sits in something that could almost be called a crouch.

Near his feet, there's a small wooden box - it's about big enough to hold a couple of books and not much more. Dressing room, meet Isa. Isa, dressing room. He doesn't bite, we promise.]

[She's gotten used to strange characters all over the place, but hasn't seen anyone quite like him.

Forgive her as she takes a moment to throw a curious glance.]

[And Isa will just return that glance. He's not going to say anything, but he's watching all the same.

She might notice that he looks a little unkempt, as if he hasn't had much call to tend to social graces lately.]

[...She steps closer wondering if he's new.]

Are you alright?

[New, unsure of where he is, and damned protective of that box, to judge by the shift in his stance.]

I'm fine.

[Although his voice sounds a little bit rusty around the ages, like he hasn't used it much lately.]

[Notices his voice and tries to be as nice as possible, even though she's a little apprehensive herself.]

Your voice sounds king of rough. Maybe you should drink some water.

[pause. oh wait.]

Are you new here?

[As he heads along, Xehanort nearly doesn't notice the figure at first; nearly. He stops just in time.]

Oh! ... Hello?

[There's a pause before he answers; maybe he's thinking, maybe he's just trying to figure out why she's trying to be nice.]

Where is 'here'?

[wtf is up with all this niceness? Not to mention all the people.

But to his credit, Isa'll come up with an answer all the same.]

Hello?

[he sounds a little bit unsure, almost as if he's not quite sure why Xehanort would bother talking to him.]

The Dressing Room. It's a crossroads. People from other worlds come here. Usually they are the same people, just from different places.

[Tilts her head.]

But I've never seen anyone who looks like you, not even in my world.

[At the very least, he hasn't got a lot else to do right now...]

Haven't seen you here before...

[There's a sudden tenseness in his stance at the words 'other worlds' and a note of what might easily become anger in his voice when he answers.]

What other worlds?

[Ah, it'll do the boy good to be forced to talk to people.]

Haven't been here.

[Steps back.]

T-there are other w-worlds. You know, l-like ones with m-magic, ones with heartless and n-nobodies, your world, my world. There are maybe hundreds more.

You just arrived? Ah. [He looks down for a moment. Is he going to have to explain things...?]

[And just as soon as the promise of anger appeared, it disappears again. Apparently something in her explanation's managed to calm his anger.]

Oh.

[A pause and then:]

Heartless?

[Well, he's heard something of it from Naminé, but he's not going to mention it. Instead he just nods at Xehanort's question.]

[Calms down and sighs slightly. She's still on edge though.]

You've never heard of them?

[Pauses, thinking of an explanation.]

They're usually these little black creatures but they have different forms...They basically have no heart. When someone loses their heart, they turn into a heartless. And the heartless can take other people's hearts as well.

[Right.] It's... a world outside worlds. ...It's not a bad place. But I guess that doesn't help much.

[Thaaaaaat doesn't sound good, and he's all but visibly bristling as she finishes the explanation.]

Where are they from?

Outside worlds?

[plz to explain how this works?]

Other worlds usually.

[Looks around and sees some passing by.]

But there's been a lot more recently. I've heard a spell has been going around, turning people into heartless.

[Spells, at least, are something he's familiar with.]

Why would anyone want to?

[Shrugs.]

There are many crazy people here.

[There's a nod at that. He'll be sure to keep an eye out, then.]

[He thinks. Basic terms, basic terms...] Do you know about other worlds already?
