Last night I had a dream about you

[He had been planning to go to the kitchen, or the library, or somewhere a little more exciting than just a random sofa in a random open room, but. Moving kind of hurt. It had been painful enough just limping his way over to the sofa to lay down. At least the damage from getting attacked the other day was healed - and certainly wouldn't cause him to be limping even if it hadn't been. Despite what had transpired the last few days, the blond was actually looking pretty content, maybe only a little tired; he'd managed to put most of his problems out of his mind for the time being. Roxas had sent Axel go get him food in the meantime. It was his fault that he was sore, after all... And he didn't look like he had any intention of moving any time soon.]

[Roxas froze. He didn't need to turn to look to tell that it wasn't quite Saïx, but it certainly wasn't that thing from before. He didn't need to look to tell what color those eyes were, he could... just feel it.]

[He could feel the frustration cutting through his own shock at Saïx's sudden appearance. It wasn't at all a pleasant feeling. It took some effort and wincing to sit up, but Roxas managed to, watching Saïx. Wait, he was asking him if he was okay?]

Yeah, I'm fine now...

[He pauses, considering. It seemed like Saïx wasn't going to try to kill him for the moment, so he might was well ask.] Why were you... not you?

[At least Saïx didn't ask why he was struggling to sit up. That would be awkward. It's not like he really wanted to be part of Saïx either. He loathed Saïx. But now... He regretted asking that question almost at once. The sheer rage coming off the other was staggering.]

[Was there any doubt? He's kind of noticing that. It's unlikely that his responses actually made any difference in the way the conversation was going. The hand on his chest tightens on the fabric there, wincing a little at sudden spike in the rage.]

He jumps to his feet, wincing for a moment - just ignore that, he sort of forgot moving hurts - before scowling.]
