Father to Be?

[There seems to be a Naga in one of the many rooms. He chose this room because it was the warmest. And why would a sea-naga suddenly want a warmer climate? You may notice he is tightly coiled around what seems to be an egg. A rather nice sized egg at that. Perhaps he is protecting... And it looks like it might be hatching soon...]

[When someone approached, you might have noticed that Saix puffed up considerably...until he saw who it was...Long time no see. ]

...Sssora. [He said gently.. He seemed somewhat relieved to see him. ]

[Oh...How he has missed that, nuzzles against your hand... ]

Yesss... [Or...at least he thought it was. ]

I found it where we usssse to nessst. But... I don't know where Roxasss went. [...But he had an idea. ]

[An unidentified humanoid walks into the room and starts looking at everyone.]

[Careful you. Thats a 48ft Naga with an egg, and he doesn't seem to like your scent. He just gives a rather loud warning hiss while tightening his coils around the egg... ]

[Someone had been missing, but it wasn't by his choice. He'd been jerked back home, and put through hell. This Roxas naga looked terrible. He was thinner than he had been, and looked pale. his black and yellow scales looked dull and he was just weak.

But the gods had smiled on him, and brought him back to the dressing room. Specifically back to Saix's side, if he'd still have him. When he appeared, he was looking down, not really noticing where he was. Would Saix notice him?]

[You may notice that Saix seems a bit irritated... Maybe he doesn't recognize you, or he is just really upset. Either way, he's hissing at you Roxas. :| ]

[He looks at the naga and sees it's egg. He takes off his mask and reveals himself.]

[It didn't matter who he looked like. He didn't recognize his scent, and he was invading in a Naga's nesting area... If there was going to be a fight, Saix will not lose. He's all ready puffing up, flashing his fangs at you, but his coils are still wound around the egg, keeping it warm. ]

[Oh? Well, he is still puffed up at you, tongue flicking in your general direction rapidly and giving you an evil glare. ]

Hss...Ssstay away from my egg.

If that is what you wish. But it would not be much of an honour to fight a man trying to protect his baby wouldn't it?

[Well, that was the type of language he could understand. It was very cowardly to start a fight with a father protecting it's unborn offspring... He just hisses quietly. He seems to be calming down. ]

Hss... I forget that not all living creaturesss are like that of mossst Nagass who kill for no reasson.

[He lost one child, he wasn't about to lose another. So excuse his initial behavior. :| ]

[He finally pulled himself together to notice that he wasn't in his cage, that he was actually back. He was Back! But he heard the hissing, and fliched, turning to face Saix.]

SSSaix? Isss that you? Isss thisss a dream?

[When Roxas said his name, he seemed to calm down... ]

Roxass... I thought you left me forever. [So lets just pretend the only thing you left behind was an egg.. :|

He would have gone over to him, but he didn't want to move away from the egg. So he just hisses at you to come closer to hold you. ]

You haven't been eating... [And oddly enough, neither has Saix. Been sort of busy..egg watching. ]

[And he was quickly over to him, Wanting to be close, scared of being forced away again.]

I'm sssorry. It took me back to my world.

[He shook his head.]

They ssstarved me.

[He went back? ]

... Watch our egg.

[He ordered as he slowly unwound himself from the egg. He didn't want to leave it without the warmth of another tails curled around it for too long. And you know Saix, he tells you, not asks, and he disappears for a moment... Where could he possibly be going? ]

[He looked at the egg for a moment, shocked. He knew he'd given birth right before, and here it was, their offspring. He tightly curled around it, running hand over it, feeling the pulsing from the little one inside. He couldn't wait to see if they'd have a boy or girl.]

[Saix returned minutes later, dragging in half a cow... Literally, half of a cow, from one of the large meat-lockers in the kitchen. He sat it down near Roxas before slithering up to him, nuzzling against him for a moment. ]

Eat. I will after you are finish. [He said gently. And of course, while you eat, he would curl himself around the egg. ]

*Sora smiles and wraps an arm around you, resting his head on yours*

... wow.

*and he looks troubled*

You don't? You've looked everywhere? Do you... need help? I can go look, too.

[He wanted to coil around Sora so badly. He truly did miss him... But, his offspring came first. ]

[He's still nuzzling you until you ask about the egg... He seems a little hesitant.. Oh yah, and keep in mind, that egg is probably almost as big as you, give or a take a foot or two. ]

...Hss... [He slowly unwinds himself, tail pushing you lightly towards the egg. ]

You can feel him moving. [He said it with a quiet pride. ]

*his eyes are full of wonder when you say that -- he's never been close to a pregnant woman, or many babies; he had a chocobo chick when he was itty, but that's another story :|*

*and he steps forward and rests his hand on the egg, hesitant, before pressing his palm against it and smiling back at you*
