Hey kid... You still with me?

[After getting away from Saix, Axel had taken the unconscious Roxas (destati_13) back to their room to try and coax a couple potions down his throat. Having been sliced in the back and had his arms stabbed clear through in a fight against Saix, Roxas was in pretty bad shape.

Axel sits on the edge of the bed where Roxas is lying, potion in hand.]

Come on...

[He'd go for help but he'd rather not find out what happens if Riku finds them before help does.]

[Sorry Axel, he's pretty well out of it. Blood loss will do that. He's still breathing at least, though slowly. Might want to try a bit harder to get him to wake up.]

[He probably won't appreciate the sting but Axel's really got no other choice; he pours the potion over the wound in one of the blond's arms, pressing his hand over the other to try and slow the bleeding.]

[No, he really doesn't appreciate the sting or the hand pressing down on his other wound, but it's enough to make him flinch and groan. One of his eyes peels open a little, trying to focus enough to see what was going on.]

[It takes him a second to realize that Axel was the person above him, and that the redhead was talking. After a few moments the words register and open his mouth. Roxas doesn't look like he wants to try and sit up to drink though.]

[Axel will help, then. He loops his arm around the other's shoulders and sits him up a bit, trying to be as gentle as possible and not irritate the wound in his back too much. He tips the bottle back slowly, no need to choke Roxas.]

[Roxas winces when Axel sits him up a bit, but it wasn't as painful as it could have been. It was more the burns on his back that hurt at the movement. With some effort he manages to start drinking the liquid, grimacing at the taste.]

[Deal with it, Roxas, it's better than dying. Axel makes sure Roxas drinks the entire thing, then lays him back down.] I need to turn you over, to treat your back...

[It's also better than the stuff he drank to get his fingers regrown. Being set back down was painful as well - the potion had actually made him somewhat coherent, and he was staring to realize how much the wounds actually hurt. Roxas nodded a bit.]

O-okay...

I'm sorry, but if you don't get these healed fast you'll lose even more blood, and... You can't afford to do that. [He rolls Roxas over onto his side first, hopefully with the blond's help, to take a look at how deep that wound is. Hands slick with blood, he frustratedly discards his gloves to pull the singed fabric away from Roxas' back.]

[He helps as much as he can, which probably isn't much. Roxas also has to struggle for a moment to move his arm out of the way, because rolling over onto it would probably hurt like hell. Not that his back didn't already hurt like hell - it might not have been cut to the bone when it first happened, but between "Saïx" stepping on it, rolling on the ground and moving, it had probably ripped open enough to expose bone.]

[Roxas is lucky he can't see Axel's expression from where he is; it's grim. Not wanting to move Roxas anymore, for fear of further damage to his back, Axel leaves him as he is. The redhead, once he gets the fabric out of the way, gently pours a little of the potion over the wound, praying there's no damage to his spine. He'd been able to get to his feet before, though, so...]

[The fact that Axel didn't roll him over fully was kind of telling that something was wrong. Just being able to see how much blood was seeping into the sheets from his arms alone was troubling. Roxas made a noise when the liquid hit the wound, fingers gripping at the sheets to try not to move.]

[The main thing that caught his attention as he had been walking down the hallway was the trail of blood leading back to Axel's room. Riku knew that he wasn't going to be wanted, but... he followed the trail back to the room anyways, peering in the open door. That didn't look good...]

... Axel? What happened?

[Axel glanced towards the door and upon seeing who it was, his initial impulse was to throw the empty potion bottle in his hand at Riku. So he did. Lucky for Riku, it hit the doorframe.]

Get out.

H-hurts... [Roxas whined a little. The sound of the bottle breaking made him jump, at which he winced, trying to see who Axel was telling to get out.]

[Riku still stepped away from the frame when the bottle shattered, not really wanting to get hit by any of that glass. He frowned, looking at Roxas. The blonde looked like he had lost a lot of blood, with how white he looked. Riku ignored Axel, coming into the room and over to the bed.]

[Axel placed a reassuring hand on Roxas' shoulder, keeping his touch light.] I'm sorry, [He soothed] Just relax, don't stress yourself. Give it a sec to heal.

[Dark eyes turned on Riku.] You can bitch him out later, Riku, now's not the best time.

[He could finally see that it was Riku coming into the room, but he didn't really have the energy to tell him to go away, or to even really frown at him. Roxas tried to relax a little as Axel prompted, but it was hard to manage with the pain.]

[He carefully peeled both of Roxas' sleeves up, since it was pretty obvious that Roxas was bleeding from his arms. Riku pressed down on the wounds, trying to slow the bleeding down a little while Axel took care of the wound on Roxas' back.]

What are you--? [He cut himself off, realizing Riku was actually helping. Axel can only really give Riku an odd, confused look, before his attention is pulled back to Roxas' back. Another potion is used, finally slowing most of the bleeding and mending flesh over the exposed bone, and he offers the last one to Riku to use on Roxas' arms.]

[At first Roxas had tried to move his arms away from Riku, not sure what the silver haired male was doing, but he winced when Riku grabbed his arms, just letting him put pressure on the wounds. He made another noise at more potion being dumped over his back, but it was starting to hurt less, now that the wound was actually healing.]

[Riku just frown at the confused look Axel gave him. He really wasn't enough of an ass not to help try and keep Roxas from bleeding to death. No point in punching a dead person in the face, right? Riku took the potion from Axel when it was offered, carefully pouring it onto the wounds.]

[Axel got up to grab a towel from the bathroom and press it to Roxas' back, to try and clean up some of the blood so he could figure out how bad it still was.]

[Another small noise escaped his throat at the healing on his arms, but he could feel the wounds starting to heal. His breathing seemed less labored, between not being in as much pain, and the wound on his back healing up a bit.]
