[ There's a Larxene paused in the hall at the entrance of the main room, turned to look over his shoulder with an expression that's simply... disgusted. If one were to check for the source, they'd notice there's something very small seated on the end of his coat, and looking quite comfortable with it. What is it? Why, it's a baby. With red hair and a big smile on its face, staring right back up him.

Unfortunately, seeing as he's not anything close to paternal, Larx reaches to tug the coat violently out from under it. ]

[... okay, then. goes over, bending to pick up the baby before he's violently pulled from the coat.]

[indeed. though, now that it's been rolled off of his coat, he looks like he might kick it down the hall.]

[gives him a look that's mostly annoyed from the situation, and crosses his arms.]

[sfkjsh what no. brb scooping that baby up- why so red hair.]

[isn't in the mood to play today, crossing his arms. the baby, on the other hand, starts to giggle.]

If I knew the answer to that, it wouldn't be here.

What, it just showed up?

[not that that's totally unbelievable with this place. ....aww giggling baby.]

[...sends the baby a shot of lightning.]

[sdfjsak wasn't expecting that and doesn't even have time to block it or anything sdjkfhs.]

[don't worry, Kai. that baby? just absorbed all of that lightning.]

[looks down at the baby before letting out a slightly incredulous laugh.]

[there's a flicker of irritation on his face, but the baby's looking very happy right now.]

Want to get that thing away from me before I break it?

[wiggles a finger at it before looking up at Larxene.]

If you can't electrocute it, what makes you think you'd be able to get rid of it in any other way? If this place made this kid to mess with you...

[wiggling fingers demand to be grabbed, thinks the baby. Larxene just lifts an eyebrow.]

You've got no proof that I can't get rid of it, and somehow I don't think you'd like to see me try.

[asdfghj what the hell. Just kneels down and grabs that baby up with one arm, while his other arm is being occupied by a different baby.]

Who the hell gave you a baby?!

[pretty much laughs in his face. it's the sight of it, really.]

I wish I knew.

[pff, looks very comfortable with the baby, oddly.]

No, probably not. Guess I'll take it off your hands, then.

Gee, thanks. I'm sure I'll think of a way to make it up to you.

[it seems quite fond of Kai, though when Larx turns to leave it starts making grabby hands for him.]

[blinks down at the baby, then over at Larxene.]

Sorry kiddo, you may want him to come back, but I don't think he will.

[he doesn't intend to. not even when said baby starts crying loud enough to pierce ears.]

[oh for- tries to hush it, grimacing.]

[nope, sorry, that's not going to work. and Larxene is even less interested. of course, he might change his mind when he walks face first into that invisible barrier.

sorry, did he swear loud enough to echo?]

[too bad she's not. he'd offer it up as practice.]

[ignores him, continuing to try everything he can think of to quiet the baby.]
