[Having decided that the dressing room needs sprucing up, Nami is currently in one of the many hallways painting. An odd sort of mural decorates the wall in bright colors, all loops, swirls and various geometric shapes. He's now working on what looks like the kind of graffiti you'd find in a skate park, singing along with the radio he'd found somewhere. There are art supplies everywhere, ranging from chalk to spraypaint in every color imaginable.]


(ooc: I was bored. :| Feel free to join him, ask what he's doing, or just observe. He won't mind.)

[looks over and sees you, then grins.] Yep! I figured this place could use some color, it's all bland. And the walls are just made for drawing on. Care to join me?

I definitely agree that it needs more colour.

[looks over the supplies curiously. he hasn't used at least a couple of the different mediums available.]

Yes, yes it does. Grab a can or a paintbrush, and just...do whatever it is you do.

Well I normally just stick to a pencil when I draw, but I think I'll grab a brush, yeah.

Same here, easier to erase. But since this is just for fun, nobody'll care, and that makes it even better.

[laughs and starts with a line of blue. he'll just wing it.]

I'm definitely used to being able to erase. Found myself drawing with crayon for the first time in a while earlier.

Oh really? I don't think I've ever done that, unless you count oil pastels. [grabs another can of spray paint, and outlines Kai's name in light blue.]

Well I was watching over a kid and didn't want to leave him alone right away, even though he was sleeping, so I just grabbed what was available.

[why so my name? that blue line is quickly turning into a stylized blue cat of some sort, pouncing on something unseen.]

Aw. That was nice of you. How'd it turn out?

Alright, I think. I'm not really the best artist to begin with.

[shoots him a grin, adding green stripes to the cat.]

Practice makes perfect, and all that. [grins back, adding black and yellow to the outline of the name before switching to red to fill it in.]

[finishes Kai's name with a flourish.] I suppose I could go on and on about how you should draw a certain amount of time each day, and what materials to use, and so on, but that's not what I do.

I probably wouldn't follow it anyway.

[snickers. the cat is starting to look more like an island threw up on it and less like an actual cat.]

My problem is, I've watched too many art shows. Late night tv is a dangerous thing.

I wouldn't know, I was never that big on television. Most of us spent our time outside.
