[ The door to Kairi's room is open for once, and she can be seen inside, half-hidden by the large dollhouse she got for Christmas. There are dolls of various sizes and small pieces of doll furniture scattered around her, while her kitten (nearly cat) lies stretched out on a pillow behind her.

Kairi's humming quietly to herself, but she wouldn't mind some company. ]

[...there she is. Oh, Kairi, hope you don't mind the cloaked figure standing outside your door with a peculiar jar. Seems Zexion has something in mind.]

[she doesn't notice him at first, arranging the bedroom of the dollhouse.]

[She's so young that she has no idea what Zexion has in mind. Silly little girl. Oh well, might as well make himself known.]

Hello.

[you big meanie, what are you planning? she looks up when he speaks, standing up on her knees and smiling.]

Ienz-- oh. Hi.

[she might look a little startled to see him.]

You seem to be enjoying yourself.

[he'll wait before he brings up that lovely jar with...oh, is that a heart? Yes, yes it is.]

It's my dollhouse. Ienzo gave it to me.

[well he hasn't really been mean to her, even if he is a little scary, so she smiles. what was that about a Heart?]

But of course.

[coming a bit closer now]

Though, speaking of gifts, I have something for you myself.

[...something that ought to be beneficial to his research, at any rate]

[that surprised her! stands up higher, looking at him curiously.]

You do?

[Holds out that jar. It contains a heart, and it looks quite normal, but the heart itself is actually corroded with loads of darkness. Not that he'll reveal that detail]

Correct.

[well she's standing up now, walking around the dollhouse to see it. she looks and sounds amazed.]

Is that a Heart?

Indeed it is. It seemed oddly appropriate.

[of course she's amazed, and if his predictions are correct she'll likely offer it to an Axel or some other Nobody, which will answer some questions...]

Where'd you get it? Did you get it from Kingdom Hearts?

[moves up to touch the jar. hopefully Zexion is prepared to be hit with half a dozen questions.]

Yes, I did. Evidently there are numerous hearts floating freely, which, to some, could be seen as highly convenient.

[he doesn't 'mind' at all. As a Nobody he's pretty tolerant by default, and he knows what to expect from a six year old girl]

[she looks very happy to hear that, but then turns her gaze back up to him, expression confused.]

Why're you givin' it t'me? Don't you want a Heart?

Perhaps. However, that can wait.

[just hands the jar over. No need to detail why he hasn't claimed a heart yet.]

How come?

[she looks a little confused, but takes the jar anyway, turning down to look at it.]

I felt that this could be of use to you.

[lying, of course, but the way he says it seems almost sincere]

But I already got a Heart.

[holds the jar very carefully. she'll start thinking of what she could do with it soon enough.]

[Tifa was walking past on her way to the kitchen when she heard someone humming. Curious, she looks into the room and cant help but smile]
Look's like you're having fun.

I'm certain that there is a far more specific use for it than simply taking it for yourself.

[turning away now, though. He'll be sure to keep an eye on what happens, though.]

[... steps forward quickly to grab his sleeve.]

[Kairi looks up when she hears that voice, beaming up at her.]

I am! D'you wanna see?

[She smiles back at her and nods, walking into the room]
Okay.

[moves a bit so Tifa can see without her in the way, and holds up one of the dolls.]

This is Lyra, an' this is her room.

[she points to the large bedroom.]

[...aw. Ienzo's quite happy to see Kairi using the present, but he doesn't want to disturb her, so he'll just peek in.]
