As soon as she arrives, the black bird gives a cry, and she wakes up, drawing a dagger and sitting up quickly. She looks around with wide, staring eyes.]

Yes. Riku, Sora and I are... were... on a quest to rid Deltora of the Shadow Lord.

Kree would like to know why you have wings and a tail. I am curious about it too. Is that what people are like where you are from?

Hmm? Oh, uh. Not exactly. There are a lot of crazy spells and things that happen in here. These were an accident, and they were supposed to be temporary.
