[Roxas is standing outside the toy room, clearly waiting for someone. he's carrying a backpack, and in it is a bunch of potions, sandwiches and a thermos of the ever so important coffee. either he's learned how to make it or someone made it for him, because this coffee is quite drinkable. he's also holding a notebook in his arms and has a pen behind his ear. he's looking very excited.]

It's an electronic game, but it's kind of hard to explain if you've never heard of it before. The best way is to show it, but it looks like you're busy waiting for somebody.

Okay... how does it work?

[he sort of figures out what's going on now that he sees the console. Even had had computers and stuff, but he never mentioned or even implied that one could play with them. in fact they were very much off limits.]

[starts the game and hands it over to Roxas. hello there, start menu with Pacman and the ghosts.]

You move the yellow guy there using the directional buttons. Those.

[taps said buttons to indicate which ones.]

Press start and the game will start. The yellow guy wants to collect all the tiny dots in the maze and all you gotta do is to get them all and avoid the ghosts chasing him. The ghosts are the other four guys. The yellow guy will die if you touch them.

...seems easy enough.

[presses start but is still suprised when stuff on the screen starts moving! but the confusion lasts but a second, then he catches on and starts pressing buttons.]

The bigger dots are power pellets. Eating them will make the yellow guy invincible for a sort moment so you can just move past the ghosts. Save those dots to situations when a ghost is just about to catch up. He's invincible as long as all the guys are blue.

[everything is going just fine, until those ghosts starts moving out into the labyrinth. cue slight panic and smashing buttons! D:]

[she's dressed a little odder than normal when she shows up; almost like she's expecting them to go on a great expidition, complete with explorer's hat. her normal accessories are still there, though her wand is now being kept in the low ponytail she's put her hair in.]

You might want to grab one of the pellets now. He can die three times, but after that it's game over. Meaning you'll have to start over.

[and a pellet is right in Pacman's path, but the little yellow guy is not fast enough for Roxas' liking and he tries to make him move faster by pushing the button.]

[pulls something out of her pocket, then pulls out her wand, enlarging the little package. it turns into some sort of sack, and from it she pulls a hat identical to her own.]

I don't think so... he was up all night, so he had to recharge his batteries.
