[The lab door is cracked slightly open, and anyone curious enough to peek inside may notice a couple of interesting specimens.

No, this time the lab isn't being used for some ridiculous antics, such as spilling chemicals. Instead, one might notice a faint glow... a pink glow. Indeed, there appears to be a heart inside, sealed by a jar.

Unlike most Nobodies, Zexion isn't jumping at the chance to become whole-- not really, anyway. Instead he's writing down notes, observing the heart. While it's true that Nobodies have a sort of drive to become whole, Zexion isn't taking any chances right now.]

[Riku's made it a point to avoid the lab, not at all interested in running into the kind of people that would frequent it, but with the door open like that she's curious enough to peek inside.]

[Oh. A Riku. He doesn't even need to look at the door to recognize her scent. However, he continues to write down some notes, completely silent.]

[which is exactly what she was expecting to find; her eyes narrow a bit, but Zexion isn't the most worrying of people to find tinkering in the lab.]

I can think of about a dozen things you've done that would be considered 'impolite', Zexion.

[gives the door a light push to open it wider.]

Impolite? Perhaps... or perhaps I was simply correct. Although you embraced the darkness, it only proves what I had said before. Indeed, you became stronger in a sense, but only because you betrayed those dear to you, cast aside your home, and became but a shadow of who you were.

[hm... now to pump a little darkness into the heart.]

Would it not be more likely for a frog to be in a moist area? This lab is cold, dry, and unfitting.

I already looked there. What if someone took him 'cause they wanted to cut him open?

It would hardly make a difference; likely, it would be revived in a fashion similar to any other living being.

[Hm...good. This heart's got a significant amount of darkness now, but not too much. That will do.]

I've yet to encounter any dissection tools, or any sign of preservatives.

Better a shadow than nothing at all. And don't act like you know everything that happened.

Furthermore, a shadow such as yourself is easily susceptible to becoming a heartless, and therefore 'nothing' as well.
