[just minding her own business, completely unconcerned by the new locale; she's lounging on a couch in one of the main rooms, Sun Tzu's The Art of War open in her lap, though she doesn't seem to actually be reading it. pay no mind to the red leather miniskirt, and the jacket the color of fresh blood, its cut reminiscent of an Organization XIII coat. go on, ladies and gents, nothing to see here~...]

[Was just walking by, when the interestingly dressed Larxene catches her eye. Forgive her as she stops and gives a wide-eyed stare at you.]

[that would be a little girl running past, trying to chase down a kitten who does not want to have the collar she's carrying around his neck. she stops rather suddenly at the sight of Larxene - don't mind her, that jacket reminds her of someone she knows.]

Reunion time, is it?

[smiles kindly at her, the way the edge of a knife is kind]

Something I can help you with, girl?

[catches the kitten before he can escape under the couch she's reclining on, setting him in her lap and scritching behind his ears; glances over at Kairi curiously]

[goes to the trouble of actually turning a page in her book, and doesn't bother looking up at him, crossing her long legs the other way]

I'm sure I don't know what you're talking about.

[that kitten might start squirming, but he settles down quickly enough. seems she's found his weakness. Kairi just smiles and wanders over, swinging the collar a little.]

[Kind of notices that and tenses up a bit.]

[Glances at her clothing...specifically the color of it.]

I'm guessing you're not from the Organization?

I'm sure you do not.

[though he puts the palest shadow of stress on the last two words so it actually sounds like "do" with the "not" part as an afterthought.]

Hello little one. Is this yours? [nods at the kitten, smiling, though it doesn't reach her eyes] You shouldn't let him run around loose like that, he might get hurt.

[smile widens slightly, shark-like]

Not any that you're familiar with, anyway. What's your name?

[that makes her look up, quirking one perfectly groomed eyebrow at him]

I've never seen you before in my life, that I can recall, and I assure you, my life has been very long.

I didn't mean to! I was tryin' t'put his new collar on, but he got loose. I don't think he wants t'wear it.

[says that cautiously...she's getting a bad vibe.]
