Psychotic Mood Shift

[Now this is an unusual sight. Riku, asleep in public? In the kitchen, no less. There's an untouched glass of orange juice in the middle of the table, as well as a half-eaten bar of chocolate. Asleep or not, she's using her arms as a pillow for her head, and one might see that she's in notably comfortable-looking clothes today.]

[shifts a bit, moving her arm so she can sleepily peer at him with one eye. she can smell your fear.]

[pauses in taking a glass down from a cupboard to wave at her with a faint smile.]

[watches him with the steady gaze of a lioness about to go in for the kill--

and then turns so her face is hidden in her arms once again.]

[grabs himself a glass of milk, then chews his lip uncertainly for a moment.]

...anything I can get you?

[shakes her head gently from side to side.]

No. Thanks, Kai.

[nods, sipping his milk.]

[lifts her head up to give him a small smile.]

[sits up, looking a bit tired, but more irritated than anything. it doesn't help that now she can see what he looks like.]

[narrows her eyes, but lets go of his wrist, leaning back and crossing her arms.]
