So... I think it's pretty obvious that this place's full of doubles. Didn't have to think twice to figure that one out. Tried escaping with the darkness (can't believe I'm actually using that again), but that didn't work out so well. Worst of all, I get this nagging feeling that I've been here before. Heh...go figure.

Doesn't look like there's any fighting going on, but I'd kind of like to get back home. Namine would kill me if I show up late again. [sigh]

They still have their souls. See... in the world we're from the heart's an organ and all, but it mostly just contains feelings. Without it, a person can survive, but they're emotionless, I guess, and they don't age or bleed. Namine's different, since she's still connected to her heart, apparently. Can't say I understand it completely.
