[something giant and yellow is streaking around the dressing room. it's only identifiable as a chocobo whenever it stops to peck any unfortunate passerby on the head, or wark loudly at them, or chew on their shirt.]

[Bawk normally wouldn't rampage like this with Master around, but Master seemed to have forgotten to lock its stable at the end of the day -- or, put it in its stable at all. it currently has no idea where Master is, so as far as it's concerned, any and all inhabitants of the dressing room are available for it to harass.]

[it's successfully distracted from running -- it's attracted to that bright red hair. so it stops, trots over to Kai, and commences pecking.]

[curious. Bawk nudges at Demyx's shoulder, testing his balance. it's not quite sure if it needs to compete for dominance just yet.]

[warks loudly, although it doesn't peck again. Bawk tilts its head to the side, giving Kai a look that seems to say "why can't I?"]

[Ri! Bawk recognizes that voice, and detours over to him to chew affectionately on his shirt.]

[taps Bawk's beak lightly.]

You might hurt someone, hey? Then you'd get in trouble.

[warks again and ruffles its feathers as if angered, although it doesn't peck again. it doesn't like having its beak tapped, and is used as a form of discipline.]

[l-laughs, stumbling a little.]

What, d'you like playing?

[crosses his arms, shaking his head with a smile.]

Now what are you doing out on your own?

[nudges again, and then turns abruptly to the side, wings flapping. apparently, it wants a race.]

[opens its wings very slightly -- it almost looks like a shrug. Bawk was never put in the stables for the evening.]

Oh, Big Bird. You're totally out of your league.

[warks loudly, and fluffs out like an angry puff of feathers. it does not like jabs at its pride.]

I don't suppose you'd cooperate if I took you to the stables, huh?

[hands out in front of him in a 'calm down' manner, and he wiggles, dragon tail curling behind him.]

So, no wings. Just feet.

[flaps its wings stronger this time, scuffing at the ground with its talons. Kai is not Master, so he would have to catch Bawk first.]

[fair enough -- it was born and lives to run, after all. Bawk lowers its head in a ready position.]

[sighs, running a hand through his hair.]

And there's no way I'd be able to catch you if you took off.
