[someone's too stubborn to put up with the taste of an Elixir after getting into a fight -- and for some absurd reason, stitching himself up seems like a more desirable alternative.]

[there's already a bandage around his neck, and he's awkwardly working on his shoulder. he's not wincing whenever he pushes the needle in, but the absolutely foul look on his face says something about his current mood.]
